Void Dragon got sealed on Mars a 1000 or so years before this is set.
This, he also doesn't have a soul since it kind of got cast into the warp and dissolved a long time ago when the C'tan ate their life force.

It's Shirou, and a huge portion of the Emperor's power is directed towards supporting himself. I think he was drawing power from the Warp.

Oh don't get me wrong it shits over the Nasuverse and is mostly a crack fic, but mechanic wise the Emperor is like Saber except he's the motherfucking emperor so he can't use barely any of his phantasms, and has to divert most of his power to staying manifested.

From what I remember of the fic, it was a combination of the Emperor being nerfed to fit into the Servant containers, and the Emperor redirecting most of his power to keep himself manifested.
Still a pretty big strain on the Suspension of Disbelief, though. Especially considering that his Master was Shirou, of all people, and that he still had enough power to destroy every weapon in the Gate of Babylon simultaneously, without any strain whatsoever.
In other words, it works off bad writing and authorial fiat.

Property Damage is, ultimately, not a serious story in the least. It is crack, plain and simple. And for crack, it's okay. Red Chalice began as a crack idea, but by the time I finished Chapter 1... ehhhh.
