The Holy Grail War had come to the United Kingdom. The warning signs had been unmistakeable. To have such a destructive ritual taking place on the Clocktower's doorstep was troublesome. Even if the affected area was an inconsequential dockyard city it remained troublesome.
The Church had installed their representative in the city as was their role in this War. An Italian of no small renown in the moonlit world, though he was not an executor. The last time that kind of overseer had been involved the results had been bloodier than usual. For that fact many Magi with an interest in entering the War were breathing sighs of relief.
The mundane residents of the city were going about their lives without the slightest inkling of the War about to descend upon them. To call it hell would not be an exaggeration. The death tolls of previous Holy Grail Wars have been significant, but they have been covered up by the Church and Association. But with each it grows higher and the ever shrinking gap between occurrences preys on many minds, Magus and faithful Overseer alike.
A hell you're walking into, voluntarily or not. A hell in which you are...
[ ] Female
[ ] Male
[ ] A Hedge Magus, recently introduced to the moonlit world you have circuits to supply a Servant and you know how to use them, even if only to do basic reinforcement and alteration. That being said for all you recently acquired knowledge the Holy Grail War is nothing you've only heard the odd whisper about.
[ ] Scion of a Young Family, you've been a part of the moonlit world all your life and your circuits are strictly average but you have received the family Crest and all the knowledge of air magic therein. You do know of the Grail War, the basics at least, but you never expected to be chosen to take part yet here you are, scrambling to find a catalyst for a suitable hero.
[ ] A Prodigy from an Old Family, you live fully submerged in the moonlit world, no dipping in and out like all those legions of second rates for you. Your circuit count and quality is far above average and your family's crest was passed to you the moment you were old enough to have it. Supporting your Servant and fighting other Master's will be child's play. The only people who could hope to exceed your knowledge of the War are the Einsbern and Makiri families that created it.
Welcome, to the Holy Grail War; rejoice young Magus for your wish will soon be granted.

Soooo I'm running and AU Fate Quest.... Damn it
@Verminlord1 stop giving me ideas and then helping me prepare them for quest-hood
Ahem. Things you should know about the three characters. Hedge Mage has far more creative character options than the other two, they will be up for doing almost anything you guys want. Prodigy is, essentially, Kayneth from Fate Zero only slightly less of an asshole so their options are a little more limited character wise but more varied magecraft wise, within the remit of Earth magic. Scion of a young family is a middle ground between those two options, with Air based magecraft rather than Earth.
Oh and Hedge Mage does not mean Shirou-alike, for one thing our hedgy friend can, with effort, set up a boundary-field.
Also I blame Verminlord1 for
everything.
