Fallout Thread: We can't stop here! This is Cazadore country!

Playing this.

Found an EM2. Super happy. Doesn't appear to be a .280 receiver variant yet. Super sucks.

Apparently a lot of people are having performance/crash issues, and the enemies are bulletsponges, so I'm going to wait a bit.
There's a card in one of the pubs that's supposed to give you a perk and halves all damage. Just don't get that/remove the perk and it's pretty good! Long loading times though.

The No. 4 is good too.

I've had two crashes in the 5 or so hours I've put into the game- one before I installed Buffout, and one when i tried to fast travel to the train crash. Otherwise it's running about the same as Fallout 4 for me. There's definitely some bugs and optimization issues, but on the whole I'm pretty happy thus far.

A couple of things that have helped with bugs/performance:

- I've got the GOG version of F4 as a separate install rather than mucking about with the downgrader
- Dropped my settings to High instead of Ultra, dropped shadow distance to Medium
- If you've got two installs, they'll both create "Fallout4" folders in My Games. Rename the Steam one to "Fallout4 Commonwealth" or "Fallout4 Steam" or the like when you're not using the steam install, so London doesn't try to read the wrong .ini file
- Install Buffout, it's a bundle of engine fixes recommended by the devs. Just drag and drop it into the F4SE folder of your London install.

I am beginning to suspect that the Wayfarer is a clone of Smythe that got released before the conditioning to be Smythe - the first hint being that I was wrong about the character being switched to female-sounding, instead it's decided by the player character's body type. Later on in the main quest, there is confirmation Angel has cloning tech that involves vats and makes heavy use of it, and the Gordon's Alive sidequest has you get through a scanner that Smythe should be the only one left capable of going through, which gets you addressed as "Agent".

Only have crashes in Tower Hamlets. Load times are long, fix for that seems to mess with the textures. Still not found anything that runs .280*. Digging the Guy Ritchie meets Peeky Blinders (or at least what my partner tells me, never seen it) vibe of the Vagabonds.

*I do have a Bren gun now though. Love it just as much as in reality. Bren guns rule. Truly excellent.

I was never really fan of Storyteller as a character. I felt it was too rambly, too much knowledge for someone who supposedly was just telling stories.

However, I did recognize what they were going for could respect that. Sad to hear about his death.

and you can play it in a browser, neat. tho.... it does take a while to load everything in a browser. XD;;
