Blue is nice, but sometimes you need a combat spec who can actually think tactically.

Rena needs stronger, smarter servants allies. "Cute foxboy" is a compelling argument, but I want to see her try climbing back up to the big leagues already.

More cavalry! You need to cover every niche of the villainess story, so you need a mounted sworn champion that'll make things worse for your or the enemy!

You can't exactly be a sorceress-queen with only one questionably loyal bodyguard for your army, and giving Blue a distraction might keep them both busy. Also provoke less jealousy given Rena's strident lack of interest in females.

And if she likes weeping tragedy and dramatic tales, well.... Rena did just remind us all she has experience with how murder victims scream? And plenty of enemies needing more brave guards to help murder (or tragically sacrifice themselves stopping).

I enjoy Rena in her element. While reading her summon the smoke spirits I instantly gave her the voice of Eris played by Michelle Pfeiffer in my mind.

Probably the closest to a safe option, while still being something Rena will enjoy having around. Note that 'closest to safe' is nowhere near 'actually safe' - we may be more potent and trickier than he is, but assuming a trickster is not a threat is the kind of mistake you only make once.

Probably the best choice if we want a longer-term ally and more involvement with this place.

Odds she'll work with us to betray her master? Pretty high. Odds she'll betray us if we take this place over? Extremely high. The killer whose fundamental narrative involves heartbreak and betrayal is a useful weapon, but not a useful ally.

Still probably the best choice if we want to just loot this place and move on.

Also loses points for not being a sexy dude to add to our collection.

The master of the house, and the most powerful monster here. Probably the best choice if we want to leave this place intact, but claim a share of the profits or some favors.

It's a shame he's a serious risk to our cover, and also probably the "feeds those who betray him to monsters" type - although Rena might be cooler with that if the monster is also him.

My word, I do not think I have ever seen more evil witch vibes from Rena that I did when she was commanding her smoke-servants. As for the vote: Red-tailed Dae, if Rena's guess is correct, likes eating people. He'll be a dangerous ally in general, and his deal will probably require feeding him half the traveling party. The swordsmaiden, I like. I am all about that melodramatic drama queen lifestyle. But I do think Blue will be jealous, and furthermore this is territory we have treaded before. We already have an overdramatic cataphract in the party. So my vote goes for the illusionist, for what he can bring to the cast.

I would like to empathise I am not voting for this option because it contains a foxboy.

It is only 90% of the reason why.

This looks like the hot boy we're most likely to add into our harem going forward, which is enough for me to pick it.
