Both sorcery and unleashing our tame-ish fae seem very in character, get us where we want to go, and make a point that we are, legitimately, a prince of the Earth, an Exalt, which means "not just someone to be spited by mortals.

I ended up picking this:

We haven't actually seen Blue do any fighting in person yet, so this will be a good opportunity for Rena to truely assess how useful he is.

Revealling she is a sorceress just to kill a dozen bandits would be really stupid.

Actually hold up, how have we been concealing Blue's nature as a shapeshifting prince of chaos from our hires? Because if that leaks, it'll be very bad, and I'm not sure he's clever enough to be subtle here.

This will just show than Blue is a super human warrior, nothing else. And there are plenty of ways to be a super human warrior in creation.

We can just say he is a god blooded if people asks.

...Frankly? I'm inclined to simply wreck these fools. Like, I'm half-thinking our Rena here would be able to solo them herself if she wasn't still crippled...I'm not entirely convinced she can't just bounce them off the walls without sorcery.

Blue really really wants to flip out and murder a bunch of his lady's enemies, and Rena keeps holding him back. Makes you feel sorry for the poor himbo. Let's throw him a bone.

We're a sorceress! Disposing of tiresome little obstacles like this is why we got into the 'enslaving souls and enthralling minds' business to begin with! And I ask you, what is the point of enslaving the soul of a faerie cataphract to guard our body and slaughter our enemies, if we never let him slaughter our enemies?

I worry a bit if we don't let him loose on something he'll eventually get bored or suspicious.

Well obviously Rena's been using her fae bodyguard more for the body part than the guarding part :ogles:

We've been distinctly under-respected so far and I'd like that to change.

I'm not really clear, does this involve him being somewhat open about being a Fae, or just being a scary badass on our leash?

One way or another we reaallly need to flex in a way that gets back to the Bond Villain and others, and the only question is whether its more nuisance being a sorcerer (I thought that was public? At least to the Jansi) or dealing with Fae..... but I am sympathetic to the thought Blue needs toys to play with after so long. And the chance to test him.

What would it do to "give" them his Fae-created horse anyways? An illusion that goes away after we leave, or a semi-real thing that Wyld taints them from within their bellies? Not enough range on his illusion to bother?
