Hmm... how many innocent people were in bridgehead? Cause that sort of settlement needs civilian support staff. Also some higher up people definitely brought there innocent families. So how many innocent people did kraken kill out of laziness of not wanting to do
ground warfare cause he is tyranid and thus would have cost him nothing but a bit of time.

Based on what we see in Way of Water, virtually none. Bridgehead hadn't started moving any major populations in and their spider drones were doing most of the work building anything. So not none, but very very few.
 
Avatar Humanity are completely brain dead. They have Orbital infrastructure, mass production of antimatter, proliferation of Fusion Technology, and particle lasers. They are already energy self sufficient, a 40 year round trip to Pandora for that metal is damn retarded.

It is supposedly semi-canon that the entire "We're in an energy crisis!" thing is faked by megacorps in order to get more money and/or be able to do colonialism.

I'm now even less convinced that subsuming Humanity into the Kraken's Hive Mind wouldn't be an act of mercy. Idiots.
 
I just binged this story and I absolutely love it so far! There are relatively few errors of spelling/grammar and the characters are very well written. I especially like the fact that this has a Tyranid Hive Mind MC, since that's so rare to read and the few fics that I've read that have had them are all unfinished and abandoned.

I can't wait for the next chapter to see how the MC tyranoforms and changes Earth!
 
I don't know if you ever plan to take Kraken on a foray through SG, but I'm really curious what they could do with Wraith biotechnology. The bio-hyperdrives could be worth the hassle of dealing with the Wraiths by itself.
