...ok but can we hijack some too?

It'll take a lot more investment in info gathering, equipment, and infrastructure, but sure its a possibility.

I too asked that in patron, it will be harder and our options to sell it are Cuba, Soviet Union , or China who would pay the most. We could try to keep it but we would have to build facilities to host it.

To be clear, I never said selling it to any of these would be an option, someone asked who would pay the most for a stolen sub and I posited China followed by Cuba: the Soviet Union my response was noting they'd pay a lot for it...by their own, no longer a superpower standards.

I think Dr. Mashista should be assigned here instead of looking in the streets, she is a biologist.

While Skullder should be either in the parliament, town hall or warded district since he's a investigator so this areas are right in his expertize.

Here's may plan, mostly following chellwaker plan.

Wilbur in the parliament since he has a politician trait along with Sarah, if finding survivors he will be able to negotiate with them also he probably know what to look for there. Davian to explore the streets to see what's going on there and collect specimens for further studies.

Mulley along withe Mashita to explore the hospital, both of them should a good match in find out what's going on there. While Captain Roger will explore the Warded District.

Mulley also will explore the Town Hall to find out more about what happen there since there was clear sings of combat there and could be a huge clue to find out why that battle take place.

I really wanted to find out this Utopia Project is, best part of these is to find out what happen here and this Utopia Project was possible what cause this mess in the whole place.

Edit: there we go, thanks @Aliya for the warning.

For people assigning Wilbur to stuff, please remember the man is in a wheelchair and probably can't use jet packs or the suchlike.

Put this plan together during the Patron preview; I want to play aggressive for once.

I'm completely down with the aggressive play here, considering we've only got three turns and the fact that there are substantial rewards on the line we should smash and grab as much as we can, I don't think we should use the Fusion Tank so early though. We've only got one use for it across the whole event and it seems like something that should be used when we've got to batter down the gates to Sydney's hellish interior rather than a simple inland patrol.

It's not a charge that gets spent like the science equipment, it's one use per turn.

"Some items don't use cores and instead have a limited number of charges: these don't regenerate between event turns, but have no max limit to how often they can be used per turn and don't detract from your Fusion Cores to use, so pick where and when to use them carefully!"

I think it's only equipment that requires fusion cores that we can regenerate the fusion cores for.

Edit: Turns out I had it dead wrong

I have literally asked this question immediately after the update dropped.

Is that a refrence to the soviet submarine class typhone? Or the greek god? Seems sea related eitherway.

I think is more to the latter since apparently if not careful we can unleash a monster that will terrorize the world and frankly despite earning dice is not something that should be strive for, specially since it will earn another Hero Card.

I am okay with either advancing Skulder Brain Quest or Edgar earning another trait, both of these in my opinion are far more valuable mechanically speaking, plus we also has the chance to find out what Utopia Project really is.

Ultimately Long Range patrol and Secure the Perimeter probably will not reward clues about what happened here.

I don't really get the appeal to finding out about things like Project Utopia. Sure if we were playing as the head of the DoP and had far more resources and time to get things done I'd see it since it wouldn't be an opportunity cost. As is it doesn't really seem like it would help us. Even if it maybe unlocks a project we more than likely aren't going to do it with everything else we are working on.

It jut seems like something cool to know but may not help us otherwise.

I think it's more appealing to get resources so that we can get more stuff done. Especially since we are far more invested in the region of Louisiana with all the work we are putting in. Would also give us more opportunities to go for projects that are 'fun' but not as crucial thanks to having way less resource and time crunch.

Edit: Looking back at it that project also increases Skulder's brain quest. Still, not sre if it's worth it considering we just need to do two projects for him to get the next rank and a good number of said projects have really good progress on them already. The superweapon dice does seem useful though, of course seems like we may need to invest a lot into any superweapon project so not sre how much that wold help at the moment. Still, the Superweapon dice may be good to have if we get a good superweapon project.

We can always opt to ignore Sydney Community Card, like there's nothing to say we need to develop a community in another continent, besides it only show the rewards from these achievements, there's still the reward from the Expedition itself. Discovering the truth of Utopia Project probably will make the expedition a huge success since you are going to find out the cause of Australia disaster, this is me theorize the thing was the one that cause this whole mess.

Also, discover the truth of Utopia Project advances Skurlly Brain Quest and there's another achievement has the potential to unlock another Edgar's trait.

Besides is not like we need to pick one, we can always unlock all three achievements however I don't see unleashing the monster as hugely beneficial since you will unlock another Hero Card and narrative unleash a monstrosity that will terrorize the Wasteland much more than any of our projects can ever do.

The benefit of Sydney community is that it will be completely untouched by the bombs. Which means our impact there is less likely to deteriorate due to bombs screwing them up.

Question, do we have any idea to what the next rank of Skulder's brain rank does? For that matter would it be potentially better to maybe get it through finishing Weird projects that already have good progress? There are benefits to try to shoot for it now since it saves us on time but it could be argued the other way as well.

And yeah, we may be able to get the achievement but am talking about in the potential case of us being able to pick what we get or at least have an idea what to shoot for to get it.

I'm assuming that we may be able to get enough information that we could have a good idea what certain things are needed to get what achievements and so focus on them. Though I could be wrong here.

Also yeah, the nemesis issue is a negative for trying to get that one. Especially since we are already having issues with House's agent and we haven't even done anything with him over the last few turns. So not sure we could afford another hero after us at the moment as well.

I presume that one way or another we're going to have to deal with Captain Roger and so getting his NEMESIS Quest now might actually be a pretty good idea.

Also do we get goodies if we finish the NEMESIS Quest/Kill our enemies? Also can we even handle Captain roger? We've currently messed up a Rank 1 Nemesis quest and now it's a Rank 2 Nemesis Quest which increases DC's the more we fail

Typhon: Wake the Sleeping Giant. Unleash a sleeping terror to gain +1 Superweapons Dice and unlock Captain Rogers NEMESIS Quest.
They Shall Pray For Death, And It Will Not Find Them:
In their hubris to create their heaven, they have manufactured for themselves an eternal hell on earth. Discover the ultimate truth of the Utopia Project to unlock Sydney Community Card and increase Skullder's BRAIN rank.
I think there's a missing line break or something here.
