Careful guys, even if Strypgia is a participant in this thread, Ranmasensei has a point- we should be careful with all the double entendre`s, and the like...

What he said. (Though I'm stealing the one about a "Leliel Special" and thinking with portals, because that's the kind of thing Misato would say.)

Nothing has been over the line so far, but let's not go further. No more than jokes:

Asuka: "...ooh, the 'Ramiel Special' involves high-energy lasers!"

Shinji: "Uh... Let's skip that one..."

Double Entendres with angel code names makes me DREAD the peanut gallery/banter for the next Eva battle. We already get enough comments about his appearance and I could just see Rei or Asuka turning that into a behave trigger for Shinji if he starts getting too cocky.

Not that the immediate groan wasn't followed soon after by amused chuckles. Thank goodness I have my own office where I work.

Keep in mind that even if you decide to use Angels as ephemisms, like Leliel Special and Iruel Special... The moment those Angels arrive, the meaning becomes a lot more transparent.

And some of these are a bit more blatant than others.

Zeruel approach? Full frontal assault.
Arael method... Right, let's tell everyone you are planning on mindraping someone.
Iruel special and Matarael approach? We hack the systems and sabotage NERV. Ain't that ominous? Gendo would disapprove.

Although, as someone who has enjoyed Wild Horse Thesis, I am a fan of "Reverse Armisael". And every Spacebattler/SVer lives and breathes Sahaquiel method.

They are fine for me, exept Israfel Special which I think is due to markup.

EDITED TO REFLECT ATT'S MOVE FROM ORAIN WIKIFARM TO MIRAHEZE

You guys do know that TVT is censored, right? So any of the more squicky items might get pruned.

Here, have some reading materials (It may be 'colorful' but it is not all that inaccurate):
Encyclopedia Dramatica

Also, for something less biased:
TV Tropes - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Also, what I find most amusing is that Fast Eddie tried to whitewash the TV Tropes article on Wikipedia.
Sources:

Talk:TV Tropes - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
https://en.wikipedia.uz/Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest/Noticeboard/Archive_74#TV_Tropes

The alternative?
https://allthetropes.miraheze.org/wiki/All_The_Tropes:Why_Fork_TV_Tropes

It may not be as up-to-date, but it's add free, censorship free, and the admins are really cool folks. The only trouble is that we can't directly copy-pasta anything from TVT because their CC license as of 2012 is incompatible with the one used on ATT. Sorry folks. :(

Otherwise... I'll see if I can get your story up on ATT in a format that doesn't step on anyone's toes. I'll even do @Strypgia's and @Jackie's as well. How's that sound?

Okay, more on topic...

Just went through the thread from First Post... And realized that I forgot to rate all your story posts, @Jake.

Whoops.

Well, it's fixed now, so there you go. :p

Anyhow...

So, both Touji and Hikari? Aida is soon to come along as well?

Why do I suspect that Units 03 and 04 are about to get expedited to Tokyo-3?

The plot is already starting to go off the rails. Besides, I would think that these are things that Asuka, if she's clever enough, would have hinted at to Kaji in her little bombshell of an email.

And Kaji knows the right sort of people to talk to in order to make sure that certain things are handled. Quietly and cleanly, even. Why, there even had replacement personnel lined up right before they left! How thoughtful for people who had to leave so suddenly. ;)

As for Unit-03's contamination... it's never really revealed how or even where/when it occurred. The Angel just suddenly popped up doing it's best Dio impersonation. "You were expecting Unit-03, but it is me, Bardiel!"

To the characters, anyway. For the audience, the reasonable inference from the overall arrangement of Episode 18 is that Unit 03's contamination occurs while it is being flown to Japan.

Maybe Unit 3 is Bardiel, and he just doesn't like boys....
