The tropics are surprisingly barren. My poor snakes are going to have such a hard time finding people to eat.

Overlapping votes get pushed to adjacent tiles. I don't know how that's going to work for 342.

Hopefully this hex hasn't been taken yet.
I regret to inform you that that's where I put my Anime Brainrot Catgirl Archmages.

Normally this is where I'd suggest a possible alliance, but, alas, I am too thoroughly tied up at a workplace to talk for the next quite a few hours, and I'm any case the Catgirl's inefficient metabolism seems unlikely to play well with having a whole 'nother population on top of them. (they're also at 250, see bottom of page 3 for groable's vote.)

Maybe I missinterpreted, but Kiarael did say on the Discord 'they stack' in response to me mentioning people picking the same tile.

I guess I misinterpreted? So multiple species can share a hex and it's only people voting for the same species that populates adjacent hexes?

[X] Eusocial Octopi People
-Frame: Centauroids
-Genus: Aquatic
-Trait 1: Intuitive
-Trait 2: Eusocial
-Trait 3: Short Lives
-Trait 4: Magically Inert
-Trait 5: Inneficient Metabolism
-Trait 6: Weak Constitution
-Trait 7: Water Breathing (Free)
-Hex:133, 431

While these people, whose name is largely unpronounceable to non-aquatic people, may live a short life, or have a limited diet, or lack magic, their ingenuity allowed them to persevere, as has their extremely communal nature.

Sorry if it's similar to anyone else's concept, just came up with idea and haven't read the thread. Same reason why I am not claiming a Hex, dunno if any taken.

Edit: got suggested a hex.

Edit: It seems that the tides moved some of the octopi people far away.

-[x] Trait 3: Spiritual Senses

Just double checking but aren't you above maximum number of traits(I thought max for humanoids is 4)?

I regret to inform you that that's where I put my Anime Brainrot Catgirl Archmages.

Thanks for telling me I changed my hex to 189

This is the exact same race as another.

Edit:God's chosen People/Pray to RNGesus for good traits is the plan name.

[X] Icy Magik Lizards
-[X] Frame: Humanoid
-[x] Genus: Draconic
-[x] Trait 1: Cold Adapted
-[x] Trait 2: Obligate Carnivore
-[x] Trait 3: Magically Sensitive
-[x] Trait 4: Spiritual Senses
-[x] Hex: 398

These carnivorous draconic beings live near the boreal coasts, relying on fishing and hunting to sustain themselves, with their adaptation to the icy environment and use of primitive magic allowing them to thrive in the usually hostile environment. Their sense for the arcane and the spiritual has given them a deeply religious outlook on life.
Added a short description for my Lizards for anyone interested and to give some slight hints about where i want to take them. I promise a lot of exciting stuff.... :V

Well, if you want to randomly create a nation, then you have only one voting option. 🤔

Besides, I like this dichotomy. It will be interesting to see whose patron is more generous.

[X] Precious Little Flying Snakes
-[X] Centauroid (Upper avian, serpentine bottom.)
-[X] Avian
-[X] Short Lives
-[X] Weak Constitution
-[X] Efficient Metabolism
-[X] Prolific
-[X] Small
-[X] Hex: 385

The feathery head, arms and wings of an eaglepeople attached to a serpentine tube, these people have managed to survive by way of a very intricate digestive system and quickened maturation at the expense of their general health. They fear the dark, either living atop trees where the skies are clear, or keeping a fire lit until dawn.

Was tempted to vote for the ants or kobolds, but ended up deciding to go for something that can swarm around in the air.

Using the information of the esteemed N39TUN3, I arranged all known hexes in sequence.

The most intense areas are 342 - where 3 (!) Races live at once.
Lots that are next to each other: 87-88, 133-134, 189-214, 217-218, 295-296, 279-304, 365-386, 384-385, 470-477, 477-478, 480- 481 (Yes, I'm shocked too)

470-477-478 Triangle of Hell, sandwiched on a small peninsula.

Some of the pairs are there due to people agreeing to it. For example, I suggested the hex next to my crabs for the octopi.

Inspired by @FatLeek 's comments on Discord calling the Vacla "wolf dommy mommies", I have now reworked their traits to Giant - Prolific - Intuitive - Obligate Carnivore.

Please vote "[X] The Vacla (Wolfwomen)" for the reign of the gigantic lesbian wolf-women hordes! 🙏
