[X] The hungry soul that lies underground, devouring the souls that it draws in, growing ever stronger even as its hunger grows as well.

So Maki doesn't want Izumi to sacrifice herself out of love (platonic or otherwise)? Pretty ideal situation for us actually...

So, what would the strong presences/Life forces/etc (can't remember sorry) be? I know third one sounds like ancient evil that will awaken eventually and be either a final boss or a normal boss of someone else's story.

[X] The duel between two strong lifeforce signature. One is protecting another and in turn, is given strength to match his opponent.
"The good news is that I know this pair of angels who were also some of the strongest sensors back in college. Last I heard, they were assigned to job looking after some magical artifact.
That the Pretty Bell angels?
The poor things

Because I think Maki will have much less of a problem with killing a monster, ignoring any social issues that might arise from this venture.

Also,

We can cut all the things.

Having Maki know she can kill ghosts IC could be useful later. Speaking of, do you mean all the things like how Keyblades can unlock pretty much all the things? Or just 'If it's a being, you can cut it.' all the things?

@shibosho How good is the danger sense that we gave her? She can dodge high speed chalk without noticing, but is it good enough as to make her untouchable to low level people? If so, how low-level are we talking? Because compared to us at full might, almost everyone is low level.

Pretty much. Maki's danger-sense is good enough to pretty much render her untouchable to most mundane attacks, with large-scale explosions being the exception. (She can handle small explosions due to gaining a "blast" resistance as part of her Crystal Star powerset). She can dodge a sniper bullet while in a prone position. She can avoid getting hit by minigun fire.

It's when more esoteric attacks such as magic and the likes that the danger-sense becomes less useful. For that, you need the next level.

So, if it's an attack that CAN be dodged, she can dodge it? That's pretty sweet.

I imagine Nanoha-style, city-block leveling attacks will more or less bypass it then? Since they're magic and have a huge blast radius.

I'm not sure why people think that danger sence gives her the ability to dodge attacks. She gets the ability to predict or perceive them on an inhuman level, but wether she's fast enough to act on it is up to her skills.

So if 40 people shoot at her, she's gonna die because 40 bullets probably give you no chance to dodge them all with what her speed currently is (which I think is not that impressive for a superhuman).

Well yeah, if you note the "large-scale explosions" from the GM, and "anything that CAN be dodged" by me. If the attack has a large enough AoE, you just can't dodge it.

Because dodging is explicitly involved as part of the danger sense. It doesn't just pick up on the danger, but also tells her how to avoid it. Apparently instinctively, having not noticed the high-speed chalk.
[ ] Danger Sense - Grants a sixth sense bordering onto precognition which allows the user to perceive "the feeling of death", allowing them to avoid anything that may cause them injury or harm, regardless of intent or lack of, with the smallest amount of movement possible.
Plus, we just got WOG that she can dodge a sniper-bullet or a minigun. The bullets might be too fast, but the person wielding the gun is much slower and you just have to dodge their aim. They would have to TRUELY work together to make sure they got their bullets everywhere she could possibly place herself, several aiming for locations she's not even in because she might move there when they begin to pull the trigger.

Still knowing how to act and being able to act so in time are two different things.
Reaction time ain't a thing here, since the dodging is instinctual. No thinking or anything, as soon as there's "Danger" (heck, even before, precog after all), she's moving to dodge.

That just leaves movement speed, where she can physically put herself in time. And yeah, I agree with you, that's limited. Thus, "anything that CAN be dodged". Which is quite frankly a lot of things. We can even dodge Lasers a lot of times via Aim Dodging. You need some high-grade shit for it to be undodge-able, have there be absolutely no position she could put her body in that would not be hit.
