"Sure King." The blonde smiles. "What do you want to know?"
You smile, excited to hear the answer you'll be given from one of the ever wise Humans you've since gotten attached to. You let your tongue loll out and pant happily as you ask the question you've been meaning to ask all day.
"What is 'fuck', Shamal?"
Your name is Reinforce Zwei.
You are a Unison Device modelled after the design of your predecessor, Reinforce Eins; a similar type of Device that inhabited the Tome of the Night Sky. Through you, your master and mother-figure Hayate has access to the deadly array of spells contained within the Tome and has command over the Wolkenritter. Through you, your friends and allies can access the staggering amount of information contained within the tome you are bound to and can utilize that knowledge for their own designs.
You have experienced many things throughout your admittedly short life.
You have experienced the weight of duty as the Unison Device to the most powerful mage in the TSAB. You have felt the joy of success and the bitterness of failure. You know the sweetness of happiness and the warmth of a close-knit family.
And very recently, you have also discovered the feeling of satisfaction from an unlikely and new addition to Long Arch.
King. The Fluffy Terror. The Giant Shadow. Devourer of Chicken and Friend to all People.
You know not how the canine arrived, but you know for certain of the changes he had brought into the base. Everyone worked better with him around, the Aces and Hayate relaxed a little bit more around his presence. The young Forwards were driven to push themselves harder during training and the Wolkenritter delighted in his friendliness in their own subtle ways.
But now…
Now you feel something you have never felt before.
A stirring fire in your heart and a sharpness to your thoughts that you hadn't imagined was possible, even for a Unison Device.
"What is 'fuck', Shamal?"
From your perch atop King's head, you see the Knight of the Lake still like the waters in winter; frozen in place from the cold of shock and surprise.
"…Where did you hear that from, King?" Shamal knelt down and scratched the large canine's head. But you can see the murder in her gaze, sense the magic stirring in the air as she sends out multiple telepathic enquiries to multiple people across the base.
"King hear from Shari!" the oh so innocent canine wuffs back, clearly enjoying the contact. "She said it when King go to her office. What it mean, Shamal?"
"Hmm." The Wolkenritter hums as she receives multiple simultaneous replies. "Was she doing anything important at the time, King?"
"Shari make King's Device and said she need King to show magic." King tilts his head. "King think she surprised and say 'fuck'." You can't help the flinch, and neither can Shamal. "What is it?"
"That…" Shamal takes a deep breath and pulls King into a hug. "King, you are very smart for learning how to speak Human so quickly, but that… that word is a bad word, okay?"
King stills immediately, as though the revelation rocked his world. For all you know it actually did.
"…'Fuck' bad word?" King whimpers and your heart tightens at the sadness in his voice. "Is King a bad boy now?"
"No no no no no," Shamal chants, hugging him tighter. "You're not a bad boy, king. You're never a bad boy, okay? You didn't know and Shari was being dumb so it's alright."
The large canine relaxes so much at that. You feel the fire in your heart returning at the sight.
Shari made King sad.
Shari did this.
She must pay.

Moments ago, your worldview was shattered when Shamal informed you that the word 'fuck' was actually a bad word. You nearly had a heart attack then' did that mean you were a bad boy? Would you be denied your hugs and headpats? Would your Humans hate you?!
Luckily, Shamal was quick to reassure you otherwise and you felt it mollify some of your horror. You still feel a little bad, though.
Shamal pulls away and you breathe a sigh of relief when she doesn't scold you or squirt water at your face like Terrence did whenever you acted up. You hated that and you weren't sure what you'd do if your Humans would do the same here.
"Zwei?" Shamal calls out to the tiny Human sitting on your head. "Keep King company for a moment, will you? I have some… words to speak with Shari-chan."
"S-Sure thing, Shamal." You feel Zwei shake a little in your fluff, but she laughs at the end of her sentence so she couldn't be mad or something. "See you later!"
"Right. You too King." Shamal reaches down and scratches your chin just right. Then she walks away with purpose in her stride and inaudible murmuring under her breath. You think Shari might be in trouble.
Eh.
She can handle it.
"So," you see Zwei sit on your snout, laying down with a smile. "What do you want to do now?"
