Divine Civilization: A WIP: RP thread

Wait... don't humans overtime lose body and develop copious amounts of soul? Would lifespan be an attribute related to body, which is slowly lost over time to begin with, so It's not per say a fountain of youth, more of a reset button with broken memories.

Did you have any plans for Spark?
What was your plan for scrios? Since he was leaving towards the natural disaster side more

If and how you would have reacted is unpredictable.
I was planning to see how your both gods would have reacted to various Watchers, Fay, Giants, and magical animals.

In the case of Spark.
The fall of the Malfeance would have released a whole load of restless dead, that would make everything harder for everyone. And one of the first things I had done was to introduce the Phycopomps. There were also the Drude that would have started fighting over hosts, after massive human wars/ die offs. (War causes unpleasant dreams for humans, because the Drude start fighting over hosts.) re-framed the Jabbersnatch with that in mind.
--Jabbersnatch
Titles: Nightmare of war, Father of Seagulls
5000 Soul N/A Life N/A Body
Trait: Watcher, Soul eater, Dream
Mantle of the Jabbersnatch: ???
While most of the Drude can be territorial they care about their hosts, and will keep to themselves. This is not the case for the Jabbersnatch. Born Alps and Mære who hungered so much after so many hosts had died from the war that they began to eat each other, it couldn't stand the thought that another would have a dream.

I was curious how/ if Scrios react do with the jellyfish cloud-Giant and if he would have tried to steer it in one direction or another.
For the late game expected that Scrios would start incarnating into storm-clouds and landslides. And I was playing with the idea of calculating the cost based on mass (human mass = 10 Grand Soul) of an incarnation if any of you would choose to incarnate into a Statue, landslide, or a storm, ball-lightning.
Silicilia's statues would have served as a hint that there were methods to turn incarnations into Gaints on top of that.

Wait... don't humans overtime lose body and develop copious amounts of soul? Would lifespan be an attribute related to body, which is slowly lost over time to begin with, so It's not per say a fountain of youth, more of a reset button with broken memories.

Biological entities such as mortals and trees use life to restore their body continuously. Giants (Body, without Life and Soul) slowly be chiped away at by time unable to turn their environment into themselves, but because can exist longer because they don't need to replace their body like Biological entities do. Losing Body would for a mortal mean something like losing an entire arm, while losing life would mean that healing from injury would become harder.
An interesting case in this is how Fay are pure Life without body. this means that they continuously change things they are going through, but can't touched by Body themselves. Mortals are able to lose their body and maintain their Life in very rare circumstances, but that that Life would be unprotected from the many Fay in their environment.

Would Broken and Lost have any effect on the game? And pretty big question, what if say, I would help out DMing? Not take over, too many DMs have lost motivation to continue alone has proven that it would be a fool's task. I'm asking for co-DMing. Granted, it would likely follow a much different story since much as been revealed here already, it would be kinda weird to continue. No matter how hard you try, meta knowledge will effect some of your decisions. Those who know the future, are doomed to change it.

Quick question, what would be the key factors of all you're respective gods and goddess want in a mortal champion?

You might want to take an interest in the kingdom of the lesser. Not a lot of happiness, but when there is... well, you can figure out how happy a little joy would make them.

Righteous but not arrogant or pompous, calm with the world and his/her own mortality like a Buddhist monk who has reached enlightenment, a Teacher, charismatic

Yeah, like most you'll have the biggest following in the kingdom of worship but you will be liked by the kingdom of the sea, or technically, the kingdom of the crowned king.

Oh, you'll hate the crowned king then, since he sees crowns as the true measure of one value and respects no other being than someone who as more crowns than he does, which is to say he respects no one.

Well, not entirely undeserved. There were previous monarchs in the two kingdoms that the crowned king now rules. How he ot the crowns from them, well you can guess, most likely gunboat diplomacy, but you can't be sure since the crowns slightly obscure the person wearinf them from divine sight,

To what extent are they obscured from divine sight ? Just thinking that if he offends Sigismund enough(which is a hard task) he would try to curse or even try divine punishment(Which in Sigismund's case is a Comet strike a symbolism of his hammer forged from a Twin-tailed Comet)

Enough so that you don't know where they are unless they want you to know actively. So Sigismund could just plague his kingdom if he wanted to make sure, though nothing is stopping you from dropping a comet except the cost in grand souls.
