  • Or Fire. Or Thunder... (Weather manipulation incidents, how I loathe thee.)
  • Nor think of any music track with "Storm" in them (hurr, "Tier 3 Fire Emblem" fight Music, when?)
  • Attempting to expand "the Abyss", under ground.
  • Attempting to link the fishing pond, to the Abyss. Especially if it's not completely linked.
  • Speaking in eldritch, "Shard Tongue", period.
  • Even if it's, Sothis's own "native language".
Or something along the lines of "nor implant your blood into others. Followed by inflicting trauma for blood crest related reasons."

From what I understand:
First, a power-outage, generators take over.
Second, generator catches fire, automatic fire suppression kicks in.
Third, fire is suppressed, servers take a shower.
Fourth, Sufficient Velocity & SpaceBattles servers are damaged.
Now, temporary solution/ new servers with back-up data.

Of course, in the very beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

The shut down didn't hit me as hard as it otherwise would because I was reading Ave Xia Rem Y (nice story by the way), and the author posted on RR as well, I can't imagine what a nightmare it would be if I didn't already have a story that captured my attention for the entire duration of the shutdown.

"NO- inhale No, Admini, you may NOT add Sharks to the pond. Bringing up the fact we have carnivorous plants & "increasing the challenge of fishing to increase the average strength of fishers" are not good enough reasons."

Hope they learned a lesson about buying cheap generators from this, Emergancy backups for a buisness are not something you cheap out on

I've never played the games, but from what I've read here, Rhea's reaction would be "Of course my dear. What sharks do you want?" Anyone who gets eaten was clearly judged unworthy by MOTHER, so it's all good.

It's her father who got the unfortunate position of voice of reason and talk both out of their various brilliances.

Rhea from the games does a much better job of concealing her trauma and mental instability. Oh course the canon protagonist doesn't poke at those issues nearly as strongly as QA does.
 
So I just read the spoilers on Rhea from the wiki question:

Does Rhea learn about dream Sothis in canon? If she doesnt would she still try and merge Admini with Sothis if she finds out.

Honestly. If dabbing on spoilers on that degree;
Short term; "probable", if going on a lens of 'oh, she just has amnesia, is all!'... At least, until the fact she's resisting (under 'enlightened' ideas, of 'I got another idea to revive Sothis'. Happens... *Pulls off a Miracle*)

She'd likely no longer "think" of merging/having Sothis hijack Admini. The moment she pulls of a "Crystal Dragon Jesus" move, to say... "Revive a Fell Star, out of a corpse?" (Or some, eldritch horror angle, under 'I can't believe it's not Dark Magic! Life Magic?'.)

In which case, Rhea would be hit with a brick joke... And suddenly, very nervous over how to handle a surprise newborn. And what that might mean for a potential revival of Dragons!..

Which ultimately, would be another brick joke before the "Those who Rave Slither in the Dark", become utterly paranoid in seizures, here.
 
Soooo.

Sothis is Rhea's mom.
Rhea thinks QA is Sothis reborn and is mentally unstable enough to draw joy from acting like her perceived mother's reincarnation's maternal figure.
QA expected to treat Sothis like a mom, but was delightfully surprised that Sothis would enjoy being mom instead, thank you very much.
Did I miss anything from this, thisness? Like, an explanation? An attempt for sanity to prevail?

Ah, Admini's dad thinks QA is an ordinary saint with completely ordinary saint abilities, like turning into dragon and creating life ad nihilum and forming coherent logical arguments ( not necessarily correct ones tho ) while not being even two years old.

That tracks.

... I can't wait for the Academy. Edelgard is going to be a treat this time around, isn't she? :V
