[X] Send Lancelot to the Lady's Lake (Quest)
Go forth my old knight, and seek the lady of the lake...
as for my Yeomen, prepare for Selster...
(I have work in about a hour, and wont have much time to post until about 5 hours, maybe I can post during my lunch break and such, but hey this sounds pretty fun!)
You rise up from Camelot. The city grows smaller underneath you. Higher and higher you climb, leaving Avalon and Creation behind. You break through the mists and enter into the upper reaches of the universe.
Below you, the planets ringing the mortal realm twinkle through the mists. Your sphere comes up beside you, holding Lancelot within.
You know there are other Greater Spirits at work. One even serves the God Merlin, and you have a passing familiarity with them. But it is no matter. You have all chosen this new world, and you will all fight to see your dreams realized.
You rocket back down into the mists, shooting past cloud covers until you reach Avalon again. You spin under the planet, coming up the other side and dipping down into the atmosphere.
The clouds break away to reveal a lake stretching out in all directions. A singular island rests upon it in the middle. The sphere deposits Lancelot on the island as you touch down.
"You are the Spirit?" Lancelot says, gazing around. You nod. "What would you ask of me?" Lancelot says.
The Lake begins to bubble. You have passed over it before during your idle moments. You know what comes next.
You point a single, inky finger at the waters. Lancelot nods.
Lancelot is about to engage in combat, represented by 3d10. The hero will be rolling against his foes, who will also roll 3d10. For heros, 5 and above is successful combat. Heros must outroll their opponents at least once, but there plenty of exceptions to the rule. This will be gone over as they come up.
With your singular orb, you are able to boost one of Lancelot's rolls, or lower that of your opponents. You do this by indicating the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd roll of your Hero or opponents' dice, then rolling 1d10. The order then is 1d10, then 3d10.
