Knowing ROB, he'll get to bring a single unit. The guy does seem to like oversized ships.

...but, Torroar? I'm not saying you shouldn't write these chapters, but... Personally, I skipped over most of it. Reading about the latest overpowered ship design isn't nearly as interesting as seeing it in action, after all.

You should try to save your ship descriptions for when they matter, I.e. during combat. Cut down on the exposition a bit?

Well I liked it, but I would like to see it in action too, I hope the next universe will give it a nice run for it's money.

I don't necessarily disagree with you guys, but a bit of an issue with that...is that this is an almost entirely impulse-driven work.

I sit down, and just write.

I have no notes, except to keep track of the bigger things and technologies I've taken. Nothing approaching the beginnings of an inkling for a story outline. Hell I really was planning on upgrading Alpha's body before I made the other one for as of yet unnamed Replica persona.

So, yeah, it might be better to pump those into times when they would 'matter' but when I'm writing it...is when my muse is having them 'matter', yeah?

We'll see stuff in action, after all, and I half considered just not talking about the new Cry of Gimli until she would appear in someone's face, but that was a quarter of a thought that was then subsumed by the process of the writing.

So...eh?

In conclusion: *shrugging motion*

Although I am sorely tempted to ask that one infamous dice roller from Cherno Alpha Vs the World to come and roll for you but that might just be cruel and unusual punishment...

If you're unsure about the whole renaming thing, its less to do with you and more to do with people going all "enough dakka" wank on me. but yeah, if I read a ship description that sounds like a fuck-load of guns (and more importantly, I like the way an author describes it), I add it to my sig list, as an easy bookmark system of impressive designs.

Oh no, it wasn't that. I was more unsure about being added into lists that include works of Better Commanders, as I refer to all of the others ones.

If you think it's worthy to go on that list, I'm all for it.

Better Commanders, sure. But a better Entertainer? Ehhhh, you're pretty entertaining to read.
