Well I'm exagerating a bit, but once you leave the host you originally were in, the plot collapse completly once it leave the initial setup and become like it's just like it goes for whatever first idea popped-up first and wasn't develop in the least, and it pad itself so much with bad gameplay that you become glad David Cage went for "Movie as game" later on cause it pace him better

Possibly the best part of this game has already happened.
Matt(i think?) tried to say the name, got confused and called it 'Detroit: Beyond Two Holes' by accident, before breaking down laughing for a solid ten-plus seconds.

Nothing D-Cage writes in this script could possibly match that. Nothing he ever does will be that entertaining. Not even the farting balls.

edit: Just remember, it's not a slavery allegory. It's not about anything.

Unrelated, but speaking of SBFP, they've got episode 0.1 to 0.6 of their 'Detroit Become Human LP'
Basically, it's news segments of their podcast, commenting on newsworthy things that have happend around the game.

Fortunately, someone on youtube cut them out of the podcast proper and uploaded them on youtube, so usually five to ten minute audio-clips for you to listen to, to get a quick look at their history with the game.

Learn the story of the farting dickballs here.

Episode 0.1
They're all quite funny, and worth a look.
Good for a laugh, if nothing else. You get a glimpse of how up his own arse and seemingly completely ignorant of... everything, David seems to be.

I am very annoyed at the news ticker during the part in the studio. It keeps jumping backwards for no reason.

Apparently, news broadcasts in the future will have unrelated images floating in the background.

They ... they do currently. The backgrounds of news broadcasts are all kinds of abstract looking nonsense, or pictures of cities, or whatever.

Like, an actual complaint would be the terrible recording. I shouldn't be able to hear the actors taking such obvious breaths.

The news ticker end once it end giving the same information the newscaster give us

I.....I.....*shakehead*

Also apparently they must do the Kara-test on every single android.....which mean they must do 10 000 tests in a day.

Also the guy really nonchallant about causing 28% unemployement

I don't know, he actually sounds like a lot of silicon valley types. I've seen users on this forum express pretty similar perspectives, honestly. Like, 'you can't stop progress' is a pretty common response to 'your new technology is actually making things worse in some ways.'

The smug 'hmph' thing used a couple of times was sloppy direction though. Like a lot of what we've seen hasn't been stunningly well-written but otherwise competently presented, but this trailer is pretty half-baked.

I do not disagree, but the guy basically caused almost Great- depression level era level of unemployement and it barely get a mention, hell nothing in the game so far showed us that level of economic trouble

Yeah, at 28% employment, I would imagine our robot rebels would be joined by the masses of the proletariat looking to overthrow the landed classes.

Detroit: Beyond Two Holes is the most hotly-anticipated dumpsterfire of the year since Infinity War and if we're lucky once Cagenos places the last game in the Sadness Petrology Gauntlet he'll wipe out half of the videogames industry.

So, that is not the only thing they put out. Oh no, they also have a timeline and 2 more videos to come. Including a full length one of a black Android singing a gospel song on slavery.....
We may actually get bingo just from the promotional materials.
I wonder if he's out of ideas or he realises that his style is so samey that we can make bingo cards out of it and has just decided to embrace his reputation.

Allright, so how many of you got Bingo just from this pre-game short.

EDIT: Is this guy an early-model Android, or is it just shitty voice work? You decide!

Okay, people, let's start placing bets on what this guy is.

My money's on that he's either an AI from the future attempting to take over humanity, or possibly an agent of alien race.

The physical manifestation of the internet is also a possibility.
