Spring 0 AB(After Birth) Of who? not you, you are endless.
Current Location: Eden A land of...

lordnyx

Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen.
Location
Milky Way Galaxy, Sol System, Earth
Spring 0 AB(After Birth) Of who? not you, you are endless.
Current Location: Eden A land of promise, a land of fates

A land of innocence needs no gods, until Fate intervenes. Innocence, innocence has been long since lost.

A young child rushes into a raging stream ill heeding his father and mother's cries of warning. "Hey wait, stop, keep away from the water!" His feet leave the stony shore of land as he slips on a mossy rock. As he plunges into the icy stream, his mother and father cry out in desperation and begin to pray.

When people pray a god is always born.Or perhaps reformed.

"Help someone help, help us, please help our child. We call to the heavens." You, you have been selected. By who and why?

Able to change eternity. That god is you.

Are you a blessing or a curse? Good or Evil? Be what you will, you are destiny and yours shall be a guiding hand in this world and the next. A change or a familiar path?
Your first choice, the parents prayers have summoned you but what path shall you trend?
[]Rescue the boy, how? A "good" god, gain the trait interventionist
[]Let the boy drown and then what? An indifferent god, gain the trait apathy
[]Smite the parents and then what? An "evil" god, gain the trait wrath
[]Other

Character Creation:
Name: What is your name? That big glowing ball of destiny might look good on the business cards but tis quite the mouthful.
Personal Pronoun: He/Him, She/Her, Hir, Lir, Zir, other? Do you limit yourself to a single gender on the duality of man or break out into something else, something perhaps grander?
Appearance: How do your worshipers perceive you? You may yet be only a single moment old but remember you can appear however you wish but a single form will be easier for your worshipers to understand.

ooc: So this is a hybrid quest/empire building where you take the place of the god/godess/zir/whatever from black & white but that setting is only the start. Soon after the events that make up the tutorial: your creature, those you save, and you will be transplanted to another world, a world from another video game/movie/tv series/book and/or other work of fiction. Where you will be tasked with building up your power, avoiding and eventually fighting back against Nemsis and his cronies as well as possibly screwing up the canon events of the series for good(or I suppose ill).

A fair warning not all choices are equal, some will increase your power, lead to good traits and even make good ends for others that got screwed by canon. While other paths may lead to horrible traits, loss of power or even bad ends but if you pick a less than ideal path the Guide may chose to warn you. Or we may not, for we are fickle. :p Or may even get killed off.

[X]Rescue the boy, how? Give him gills so that he might survive in his new home.
Guide: The situation has changed, the boy has fallen into a creek flush with the spring melt off and not into the sea. Also what shall you do with the parents?

Later half of that video happened though and the inky black stuff, your god/godess/thingie pushed through is the multiverse.

I got that he fell into the stream, I was thinking something like a riverfish, except a human kid, with gills. Is the stream too small for that? What I'd do with the parents would depend on how well my "rescue" of the kid goes.

Ah, got confused by the video post thought you thought it was the original hence the remark. But yeah you can turn him into a fish boy.

[X] A hand/thing beyond mortal comprehension wraps around the boy and bestows the ability to siphon oxygen from the surrounding water while gently guiding him out to safety.

[X] Name: Saraes
Gender: Lir - not truly limited by such mortal things as gender this is an acceptable form to call such a being. Though, the being would not be adversed to being considered male or female.

I don't like limiting a being such as this story will have into being female or male.

Appearance vote still ongoing

There is a flicker of blue light as something hears the prayers of the desperate parents. Taking in the situation of the briefest of moments, the child has been swept some fifty meters from where he first fell in and even now can barely keep his head above the roaring water of the creek. You begin by focusing, your godly powers are thin and wary from the long journey through the void but even now with the minimal amount of your powers you can still do this.

F. O. C. U. S. FOCUS

Metals leeched from centuries of rain water and deposited here and there throughout the river bed and on the shore are brought forth together. Bending your will and the metals a thing is formed, a clock face you hear an elsewhere voice say, beneath the boy the metal twists and raises from the water as it breaches the water surface you see.

You focus as the metal rises higher twisted pieces of metal are soon rounded into gears which are soon joined by more and more they worm together from both sides of the shore soon meeting at the rising crescendo of a platform that the boy found himself. The bridge gleams in the late morning sunlight, your will satisfied you turn now to the boy. Selecting the vibrating threads of his life with your faint hand of power you twist and turn the boy's frail form, so weak and faint, his density is to fall again and again into the water until one day he can no longer be saved.

That shall not do, you F.O.C.U.S... FOCUS and let your power surge from you and into the boy. You begin by shaping his lungs so they no longer fear the water, indeed they can now extract the precious oxygen from even the most depleted of waters. You next work on his eyes, water would sting and blind him once before but no longer, he would see through water as if it was the cleanest air. Finally you bind the boy's skin so that no pressure could crush him, not even on the deepest trenches of the largest of the worlds.

Your work finished in but a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of a blink of a human's eye. You inspect your work, huh was he blue before?
Race created: The Blues: Based off and interbreedable with human stock, the blues can swim and work in the deepest of waters with little fuss and no muss.

No matter, you return the child to his parents. Who at first seem briefly taken back, "Mother?" the boy croaks. The mother lets out a small happy sob and engulfs her child in a hug, the boy's father hesitates but a second more before he too gives the boy a hug.

Before you can decide to leave the happy family seems to finally acknowledge your presence. "M'God thank you. Thank you for saving our boy. M'God would you follow us to our village so we may thank you properly?"

Second Choice: Shall you go, stay or do something else?
[]Go with the happy family
[]Ignore them and play with your bridge
[]Other

Trait gained Engineer: You have a way with all manners of machines, both organic and inorganic. Can craft and improve things with your godly powers.

[X]Ignore them and play with your bridge

That is not the proper way to catch our attention.

Hmm update in ~ 12 hours, but if bridge continues on how do you exactly wish to play with your bridge?
Increase width, height, make it a draw bridge, change color, something else?

Prayer Power: A mythical energy, granted by worship and sacrifice. It is used by the gods to empower their miracles from simple divine sparks to wonders of true power that can shape entire continents or wipe out armies.

Currently your three worshipers are (slowly) recharging your batteries so to speak but an entire village of worship... Nudge nudge railroading ahoy. : P

[X] Go with happy family

Let's see: going with the happy family will, as the author/GM put it, likely have the prospect of gaining more worship in people, especially with the word of the family.
Pro: More power, more followers (always a plus!), and more options.
Con: what are our powers? Limits? Adaptability? Might be a while before we can find out

Ignore them and play with your bridge
Pros: Explores powers and limits, among others. Plus, fun!

Con: missed chance to expand Our wonder and power. With limited pious people, this means limited power and ways to test Our abilities.

Other
No idea. If anyone says anything, we'll see.

[X]Go with the happy family

[x]Appearance
-[x] Social/Interaction form: A man with a pair of these:

-[x] Powerful/Showing off form:

[X] Go with the happy family. We must give out more of our blessings. Organic Life is in dire need of improvement.

[X] Go with the happy family. We must give out more of our blessings. Organic Life is in dire need of improvement.
We're Autochton!
Well, not really, but the idea is neat.
