Day 1.6 Ghost Busting.

You wanted to leave, for a moment you really just wanted to close the door and simply leave this place forever, so many things have happened already, you just want a moment to breathe and understand the situation.
And then the dog girl whimpers.
You… you can simply leave her be. She's just another Demon, a part of you says, but the gauntlet said that ALL supernatural creatures had that classification, so it really didn't matter, what matters is that a very human like girl was being hurt by some ghost-alien thing, and you weren't going to let that happen.
Besides… you have always been a dog person.
You slam the front door open while raising your left arm.
"Summon Narasimha and Gremlin!"
The gauntlet lights up and two balls of light fly from it, both lights explode and in their places are your Demons.
"Ready to break some bones boss!" You little yellow imp yells while the half-lion man just growls at the enemies.
"Hurh!?" The demon dog seems startled be our sudden apparition.
Sadly the other two demons were less affected and simply change their target.
"Let's do it!"
As soon as I say that Gremlin jumps and hit the side of the head of one of the mini ghost, that was sent flying right at Narasimha, which made a fast job of it by simply slicing it in half.
The other one was apparently scared by the quick death of its friend because it barely moves when it became the next target of my Demons.
Sadly their coordination was a little off, Gremlin throws one of his wrenches at the ghost hurting it and at the same time moving out of the range of my half-lion attack. The ghost tries to attack my imp in revenge but before it could reach it, Narasimha bisects it vertically, ending the battle.

After a few moments of silent, you slowly move to the guard dog-girl, that was quietly watching you and your demons; you could identify some worry in her face, along with something else that you aren't sure can identify.

Power rules:
The Current Power represents the Demon actual power in our world.
Each time a Demon gain 25 more Power it ranks up, their HP and MP increase and sometimes they may get new skills.
Demons can win Power by defeating other Demons, or by doing things that the Demon is supposed to do.
For example: a Gremlin may win some points by disassembling some things.
Something to take into account is that some Demons have a limit of how much power they can have when they reach their limit you may want to consider fusion.
Advance fighting rules:
Demons can do more than simply attack other Demons, they can use skills that can do all kind of things, from make your demons stronger to create big fireballs.
Some of these skills may fall under one of these elements:
-Physical
-Piercing
-Fire
-Ice
-Wind
-Lighting
-Curse
-Holy
-Almighty
Some Demons react differently to each kind of element:
-Resist: all damage is reduced by half, except 0.5, that's completely blocked.
-Null: all damage front that element is blocked
-Drain: the damage heals the Demon
-Reflect: the damage is returned to the attacker
-Weak: all damage is double and the attacker can act again
You need to have all this into account at the time of a fight.

The Dormarth look at you for a moment before slowly moving to another part of the apartment, still on four legs.
You decide to follow her.
You immediately regret that decision when you see where she was taking you. In the floor, surrounded by blood, is a corpse, it's cover in bruises and cuts, for what you can see, he's a middle age man, a little fat, big mane of hair, and very, very dead.
You have never seen a corpse before, it leaves you speechless.
"…"
These Demons kill him, this could have been you if not because of the gauntlet that your sister left behind.
The Demon dog begins to whine while looking at the dead body.
You slowly move to her side and crouched while putting your hand on her head, scratching her between the ears.
"There, there, everything will be alright," you try to comfort her, but you aren't sure if you can believe your own words.
"Gauntlet was this Demon a… a normal dog before?"
[Affirmative. Under unusual circumstances, natural beings can become supernatural]
"So, she probably was his dog." You conclude while still petting her.
With a last whine, the Demon put her head on your shoulder before turning into light.

Your train of thought is interrupted the moment your eyes gaze on the corpse again.
"Ther-there are other people in this place, and they're defenseless… they're going to die…"
You close your eyes while taking deep breaths.
"I-I can't just leave," you say, opening your eyes and gazing upon the gauntlet.
"I want to, no, I need to know what's happening."
With new resolve in your mind, you exit the apartment and prepare to move down to the lower floor.

No sooner you step out of the stairs you hear a big scream from one of the nearest apartment.
Without thinking you begin to run in the direction of the sound.
What you find leave you wide eye.
In the door of the apartment is a man keeping the door open, his face an image of shock and surprise, on his chest, a sword stab right through it. To the side of the man is a girl, a young teenager, maybe a few years your minor, she's the one the yelled, no doubt, she's terrified, her hands covering her mouth with tears in her eyes.
In front of them is the Demon that attacked them.
He was big, he has wings, he was wearing a big metal armor, he was…
"An… angel?" You say in barely a whisper.
But it seems like it's loud enough to be heard by the girl that turns her head in my direction and began to talk.
"Please hel-!"
But before she could finish the angel moves his sword from the man chest and slide it right through the girl's head, decapitating her.
Her head falling to the floor is one of the worse sounds you have ever heard.
"Wh-why?" you say, more for yourself than to the Demon.
Even yet the angel turns to look at you.
"Sinners must be purged," he says in a calm and serious voice like this was something perfectly normal to do.
Then he raises his sword and points at you.
"Binding demons to your will is a grave sin, submit yourself to the judgment of God."

And the Rakukaja boost would really make it a slog to get past him too.

Angels are good. That's one of the main concepts the world has about these divine beings.
Yet obviously nothing is so certain, through time there had being tales of angels as either villains or amoral beings, from old tales to comics and animes, the morality of the angels can vary wildly. In the end, does this really matter?
No, not really.
That angel just killed two people in cold blood, he kills them and feels proud of it, and now he wants to kill you too, for the sin of having Demons even though you could be dead without them.
"I won't die here!" You say while raising your gauntlet, defiance in your voice.
"Insolent child, you're no one to deny our Lord! Die!" The angel yells while preparing to attack me.
"The only one dying is you!"

Immediately after being summoned my Demons enter in action, both Narasimha and Gremlin begin the offensive, cutting and zapping respectively, sadly the angel prove to be more agile than expected and dodge both attacks and even using the little imp as a stepladder, Dormarth, on the other hand, uses her skills protect… you?
"Huh? But why?" You ask looking at the Demon dog, that has a look of concern on her face.
[Attention. Full harmony with Magical Energy completed! User is capable of combat now.

"What!? Really?" You say loudly, shocked by the information

Before you could think more clearly the archangel was almost on top of you.
You move by reflex, punching right at his face, the movement was so sudden that you manage to connect hurting him a little. Your victory was cut short though, as the angel immediately jumped back and hit Narasimha with the pommel of his sword.
The half lion takes this moment to turn the tables, grabbing the enemy by the wrist a launching him to the wall cracking it, sadly making him miss another of Gremlin attacks. Then the half man was surrounded by the light of a familiar Rakukaja, it seems like the guard dog was worry about him too.
"Enough!" Yells the archangel before jumping from the wall sword high aimed at you.
"Fuck!" You exclaim crossing your arms up trying to block the attack.
"Ugh!" The attack connects and sends you back a little but it doesn't hurt as much as you feared, probably thanks to the Rakukaja.
"Grrrr! Bark! Grr-Di-rrr-DIE!" Dormarth yells, suddenly very angry before running at the angel, right to his neck, she manages to bite it and then tearing it apart, killing the Demon.
You feel a little sick of the sight of the dog girl face full of blood that happily walks towards you, still in four legs.
"Bark!"
She looks extremely happy.

After returning your Demons you decide to keep exploring the building, principally because you still want to learn from where the Demons are coming from… and distracting your thoughts of the murder that you just saw may be a part of your decision too.
Sadly all the other apartments on the floor were empty; you don't want to think too much as to why.
Just when you were about to move to another floor, you begin to hear some voices coming from the stairs.
"I can't believe something managed to kill an Archangel," some male deep voice says.
"Probably some group of Demons, I doubt here something strong enough to kill one of those guys on a one on one fight," says another one, not as deep but certainly a man too.

A.N: Things we learn today, Gremlin is a lousy shot and Dormarth gets angry when you get hurt, she's a good guard dog it seems.

That angel just killed two people in cold blood, he kills them and feels proud of it, and now he wants to kill you too, for the sin of having Demons even though you could be dead without them.

Immediately after being summoned my Demons enter in action, both Narasimha and Gremlin begin the offensive, cutting and zapping respectively, sadly the angel prove to be more agile than expected and dodge both attacks and even using the little imp as a stepladder, Dormarth, on the other hand, uses her skills protect… you?
"Huh? But why?" You ask looking at the Demon dog, that has a look of concern on her face.

Before you could think more clearly the archangel was almost on top of you.
You move by reflex, punching right at his face, the movement was so sudden that you manage to connect hurting him a little. Your victory was cut short though, as the angel immediately jumped back and hit Narasimha with the pommel of his sword.
The half lion takes this moment to turn the tables, grabbing the enemy by the wrist a launching him to the wall cracking it, sadly making him miss another of Gremlin attacks. Then the half man was surrounded by the light of a familiar Rakukaja, it seems like the guard dog was worry about him too.
"Enough!" Yells the archangel before jumping from the wall sword high aimed at you.
"Fuck!" You exclaim crossing your arms up trying to block the attack.
"Ugh!" The attack connects and sends you back a little but it doesn't hurt as much as you feared, probably thanks to the Rakukaja.
"Grrrr! Bark! Grr-Di-rrr-DIE!" Dormarth yells, suddenly very angry before running at the angel, right to his neck, she manages to bite it and then tearing it apart, killing the Demon.
You feel a little sick of the sight of the dog girl face full of blood that happily walks towards you, still in four legs.
"Bark!"
She looks extremely happy.

After returning your Demons you decide to keep exploring the building, principally because you still want to learn from where the Demons are coming from… and distracting your thoughts of the murder that you just saw may be a part of your decision too.
Sadly all the other apartments on the floor were empty; you don't want to think too much as to why.
Just when you were about to move to another floor, you begin to hear some voices coming from the stairs.
"I can't believe something managed to kill an Archangel," some male deep voice says.
"Probably some group of Demons, I doubt here something strong enough to kill one of those guys on a one on one fight," says another one, not as deep but certainly a man too.
