Our translators thus far have confirmed various spells, locations of power, and malevolent creatures are detailed within, though the book itself seems to have no supernatural qualities other than the odor of blood and brimstone.

Although I have to say, subtlety is hardly the hallmark of effective politics.
Nay, gloire and ostentation are what marks and elevates the successful in that game, for shadows shackle far more than they protect.

Plus, a proper evil mastermind needs grandiose and overt displays of might, wealth and sophistication.
Otherwise she may just as well be the help.

Otherwise she may just as well be the help.
That's for the other traits, that boost our charisma and public image. The subtle trait is for the shady work we will do behind the scenes.
