I wonder if he could mix himself with the endbringer flesh
You vastly overestimate Amy's power.Because he's an otherwise frightening and amazing villain that actually made Shigaraki grow and the author wanted for us to cheer as Midoriya beat the ever-loving shit out of him? XD Still, for as amazing as Overhaul's Quirk is, it's nothing compared to Amy's. On the one hand, Overhaul isn't Manton limited and can affect the user, while Amy literally makes any and all biology her bitch.
Amy has to concentrate do use her power and most likely be sedentary while using it. Overhaul can just delete stuff, no concentration necessary then go onto the mulch the next sucker in his line of sight. Or create a whatever he needs out of anything cause I'm pretty sure he can make biological into non-biological if needed. You vastly overestimate Amy's power.
Insanely overestimate.
Overhaul makes Amy look like a renaissance fair reject in every god damn situation.
This is false.Indeed. Her biggest advantage is that she doesn't just see what goes on inside the bodies of the things she touches, but she understands it. She might now know all the medical jargon for the things, but she gains a true understanding of things. Kai Chisaki on the other hand had to study to understand the human body and what to do with it, but he gains the same basic awareness of the things he touches with his power, or he wouldn't know what parts to manipulate to do what he does.
I think all three of the powers have different advantages, disadvantages, strengths and weaknesses relative to each other. Nilbog seems to have absolute control of all his creations, but also a distinct theme that may or may not be innate. We don't know enough to say for sure how he compares to the other two. Amy takes time to manipulate things, Kai does it basically instantaneously, but Amy has power granted understanding of biology that Kai canonically doesn't, despite that making zero sense with how complicated some of the things he pulls off are. Amy is also supposed to be able to create superplagues and Master type effects, things that should be possible with Kai's power, but which are never brought up, even though the latter would be extremely useful for him, but Kai can work with inorganic material. That being said, our villain protagonist here has none of the self-imposed rules that limit Amy, and apparently much more willingness to use his power to it's fullest. This is false.
Nilbog is canonically superior in biological knowledge than Amy is, and that's because her power doesn't do shit in the comprehension section so much as she's learned by doing and she's functioning off of practically blueprints in knowledge.
The Travelers are definitely not on the table. For obvious reasons, and even Kai wouldn't want to get within ten feet of Noelle without Amy or a Triumvirate-level cape on hand. An Echidna-clone Kai is not something anybody wants to deal with, let alone Kai himself. Circus and Trainwreck are on the table, though that's actually whether Kai would want to bother. He might try his hand with Trainweck; after all, who doesn't want a tinker? Not sure if he would want Trainwreck or bother with mercs like Circus, let's not mention Uber and Leet either. We already know he's not gonna touch the hot potato that is the Travelers either.
To address this, plus other arguments regarding who's power trumps who else's, Kai holds a THEORETICAL advantage over Amy and possibly Nilbog, and it is a very small advantage. While Amy's power doesn't let her see what's happening inside the bilogical thingie she's touching, she can manipulate the biology to an absurd degree. Supposedly she's better than Nilbog, but consider the latter's achievements in creating an army and taking over an entire city, the only way to know for sure is to actually pit the two together. I'm under the opinion Amy could surpass Nilbog if she put her mind to it...and if she was studying under Riley, because who better to teach Amy how to build her cute, cuddly murder monsters than Bonesaw-sensei?
I'm honestly more of a fan of Oni Lee with a bit of personalty. Not enough to be his own character, but enough that he's not a constant yes-man or suck up. And Amaki is really fun to write, since she more or less represents how the old ABB reacts to the new ABB, or rather the Shie Hassaikai and having a boss completely different from Lung. This has been a really interesting start; Chisaki's POV has been great to explore here and Amaki's was a good way to act as a counterpart.
I see that Oni Lee is less copy-errored here while still being subdued whicch feels quite fitting.
I look forward to seeing where this story might go
Ugh, this frustrates me so much. I can't find any good active fics on FFnet anymore because everything over 1k follows is either pandering, wanky bullshit, or cursed with such poor grammar and editting that it makes your post look professional. If you look at fanfiction and select any fandom with follows or kudos or something there is usually a few in the top 20.
I mean he holds a very real advantage over Amy in a fight, because he can just dissolve amy before she can work her power. Kai's is a quicker draw. Amy could fuck him up no doubt but she'd need a good deal longer than Kai's dissolving touch would take.
If that's true he would need to spell that out for anyone to know, Protecterate and other gangs will just assume the Shie Hassaikai is still asians only. There are other parahumans still running around that he could pick up, most notable would be Spitfire if Faultline hasn't gotten to her first. If Kai wanted he could just kidnap Dinah before Coil if working with him is untenable, keeping her out of Calverts hands helps him as well after all. Not sure if he would want Trainwreck or bother with mercs like Circus, let's not mention Uber and Leet either. We already know he's not gonna touch the hot potato that is the Travelers either.
Well if i can put a small contribution let me drop names for potential recruits for Kai's 8 Bullets. Uh. Just saying but aren't people gonna accuse him of trying to pay hommage to the SlaughterHouse Nine once they make a traduction on Dragoogle ? That would be mighty fun when PHO try to ship him with Jack Slash or lauch rumors that Kai is courting Shatterbird. Or Crawler, depends on the tastes. ^^Not necessarily. Kai couldn't care less if the potential recruit is Asian or not. If you have value or are useful to him, you're in.
I THINK he can screw with water? Air's the only thing he can't affect with Overhaul.Quick question on Kai's power, does he have a harder time affecting fluids in general and air in specific? He seems to cause large splashes whenever he deconstructs a thing with liquid in it.
Not always the only things, I'd say, but it's always pretty important and it's definitely all Kai would need. The thing is, unless she's gotten things set up, or organic allies to work with, Amy's just a pretty mediocre Striker in a fight. Dangerous enough to be worth considering, but nowhere near the level she could be, and nowhere near Chisaki Kai's level.I mean he holds a very real advantage over Amy in a fight, because he can just dissolve amy before she can work her power. Kai's is a quicker draw. Amy could fuck him up no doubt but she'd need a good deal longer than Kai's dissolving touch would take.
This is all that matters in a parahuman fight.
She's pretty much the antithesis of a stereotypical fighting Striker. She needs to maintain touch instead of just touching to work her power.
Or anyone who wears inorganic armour with no openings, or just isn't organic. And quite a few Brutes have no defense against her. She's pretty much the antithesis of a stereotypical fighting Striker. She needs to maintain touch instead of just touching to work her power.
I think if she gets the drop on Kai, she'd have him pretty beat. But that stands for just about everyone except Brutes.
Not sure what you think that word means. "Teme" is just a rude way of saying "you".The woman scowled. "…you think you're gonna walk out of this alive, teme?"
Sasuke never says "Hn"."Hn," I gave my best 'Uchiha' grunt and exited the vehicle, though not before looking back at my chauffeur. "Keep the engine warm. This won't take long."
