Hello, and welcome to the Sufficient Velocity Completed Quests Catalog.
We all love finishing a good story, the feeling of reaching journey's end, plot threads sewn up, Chekov's gun fired. This is a special treat when reading online quests, because so many stories on the internet are left unfinished. To complete a quest of average length an author must battle against writer's block and the demands of real life until they finally reach the finish line. Equally, a disciplined short quest which reaches a satisfying conclusion within a limited word count is the mark of a skilled writer. Quests themselves have the challenge of being an active conversation between users and the quest writer, making a delicate balance of output, consistency and quality to reach a desired audience.
This thread exists to catalogue completed works of quests on SV, whether they are short stories, some grand hundred chapter magnum opus, or anything in between, or even more exotic works like art quests. In doing so we hope to commemorate the achievements of authors, but also provide a useful resource for readers. Whether you are one of those readers who prefer reading completed quests, or would just like to discover some new fics, this thread is the right place for you!
But in order to make this work, we need you!
Whether you are an author or a reader, you can help us by submitting completed works to the Catalogue. The only stipulation is that it is a Quest* which is hosted on Sufficient Velocity. So without further ado, here's how to submit a work to the catalogue:

Whether you are an author or a reader, you can help us by submitting completed works to the Catalogue. The only stipulation is that it is a Quest* which is hosted on Sufficient Velocity. So without further ado, here's how to submit a work to the catalogue:
Article: 1. At the risk of stating the obvious, please try to check the work is completed! This can be any statement from the author saying it is, or by checking with them yourself. (However don't worry, as we will usually contact the author ourselves.) If you are the author, then obviously this is quite easy.
How to Submit
2. Please provide a link to the thread, as well as the username of the author.

3. If you are the author, and would like to write a short synopsis or author's note for your work, we will happily include it! If you are not the author, then we will contact the author and ask them.
If you are an author and do not want your story in this catalogue, then just let us know and we will remove it.
