This isn't really a vote to be helpless. This is a vote to embrace the incredible power of Combat Cheerleading. Which given our first vote will probably look more like Incredibly Useful Sage Advice, like what we already did with the tentacle, or later spiritual buffs. I think it's cool for a books-chosen and a strength of Essence and I'm sure Z can make it very aesthetic.

Between this and the Tutor starter, and the theming of the exaltation itself, it makes sense to me for us to be more of a tactician/coordinator type in combat, and I imagine this gives us room to excel in other fields. This then means we're at our weakest if we're caught in a fight and alone, so, we've gotta worry more about working with and keeping track of other people, which, I think that makes for an interesting dynamic.

Depends on the spirit, depends on the circumstances, it's not that constant or a major pillar of the lore or anything. Elementals probably usually do leave bodies, but that's because they're a very solid kind of spirit..versus ghosts, where it would feel very strange to try and insist on that.
