-[] Some would say that going to The Black Widow when she is explicitly hunting you down would be suicide, it would be much less painful and merciful to go mouth off to Red Hulk if one had such a death wish. You happen to agree yet you know there's more to Natasha than the super-spy cold blooded killer impression she gives to the world. And even if her word is not enough to sway Steve, it will certainly be enough for S.H.I.E.L.D and more importantly Nick Fury.

[] Aunt May and Jay. You ..should you go see them? You can't begin to imagine how Otto acted with them but..it might be best if you held off on going to her as you were now, you still have a couple of wounds from the Goblin's attacks and the last thing you want to do is lie to your aunt first thing you see her in months. Then again...

    [X] Maybe having Earth's Mightiest Heroes out for your head is not the greatest of ideas. If you go and explain very nicely to Steve and they run the tests to confirm your story then with their help you can start rebuilding the mess of a life that you have. Plus. You kinda miss your friends. And Jessica and Logan still owe you money

Chapter 0: Memory Lane

    Right. Yeah. Your mind is just a gigantic mess at the moment, jumping between bodies, barely keeping your consciousness after dying and being mentally ripped apart by your nemesis inducing a ghost-coma…

    You really shouldn't be surprised that your brain is not working completely correctly, it's actually a Miracle that the device Otto designed worked so well considering the circumstances he was in.

    ….Despite the spite you should be feeling a small part of you can't help but admire the sheer grit the villain possessed. You were in his head after all, the sheer amount of contingencies and plans for any kind of occurrence, the maddened rush to fight even when his life could be counted in mere days…

    It boggles the mind. It definitely was born of madness but his genius was not something you could ever question.

    Now if only his memories were not so darn hard to recall….

    You purse your lips and take off your mask. Taking a deep breath before standing up and rummaging through the room. It should be….there.

    You find what you were looking for and with a twirl of the pen you start writing everything you can remember from right before you got switched to yesterday.

    This...will probably take a while.

    You almost tear your hair in frustration as you close your eyes and try to focus.

    You've filled about half of a notebook with notes and theories and anything that could spring to mind, you can grasp the gist of most things. Though it was too hazy to even think about what happened immediately after you "died" and when you were sent into your ghost-coma.

    Flashes of images pass through your eyelids when you close them but you can't focus enough to grasp them. Especially the more technical aspect of things. You can recall the concepts of Otto's projects, he had many ideas both for your spider-gadgets and Parker Industries. But you...probably need to take a look at the schematics and grab a couple of engineering books to even start trying to figure out just what kind madness Otto invented.

    ...Mostly because some of his improvements for your spider-armours are honestly fascinating. You could do so much with them if you could figure out how he did that.

    Though, if all he did with your body was come up with ideas that you could turn for our own you might not even mind too much.

    But no, you need to figure out just what kind of mess he made with your life. Your friends and family...and your credibility as as Superhero. You recall him being a humongous jerk, but you need to figure out who to apologize to first and who to walk on eggshells around.

    You huff and adopt a lotus position just like Shang-Chi taught you in what feels like eons ago. You honestly aren't really completely caught up in all that mysticism Iron Fist and the like spout. But if The Master of Kung Fu approves of something you're not going to throw it out the window just yet.

    You breathe in, breathe out and turn your not inconsiderable will into remembering.

    A flash of green, a power so sublime it could eclipse anything in the universe. You look through cold eyes as a youth rejoices and floats in the air, leaving faint trails of verdant energy.

    No, dammit, he didn't. Otto restored the kid? Crap, Parker Particles were too unstable! What...what happened then? Where is he? You crease your eyebrows and try to even your breathing. There is….

    You feel a smirk crease your face under your mask as you recline on the chair as you observe your minions being put to better purposes. Serving justice.

    Whether they were willing or not.

    Your superior six would be your blade to strike away at crime, wherever you could find it.

    Like a damn bursting you grit your teeth as all the memories rush into your brain all at once. Blinding hot flashes of pain stab into your mind and you're almost overwhelmed.

    Your claws are turned aside at the last moment as white lenses stare at red ones narrowed in anger. The Scarlet Spider screams and barks. Accusation clear in his tone.

    Kaine…

    You throw aside the interfering worm and rush towards the machinery. The nerve of him! You were The Superior Spider-Man! Such a simple device was a piece of cake for you to fix! You fiddle and don't let up on your focus even as the world turns to white.

    Was that…

    You hear a sickening crack and blood splatters against your mask, stopping for a moment to contemplate your bloody fist you look at the eerie form of The Scorpion. Lying in a puddle of his own blood even as Parker's aunt strangles back a gasp of horror. The Jaw of the villain flying and clattering against the wall.

    The Might that Parker had at his fingertips…

    Like being in the backseat you relive each moment as if you were the one who perpetrated them. The thoughts of Octavius crystal clear to you as you fight down a shiver of nausea.

    You were ….drowning!

    You still your trembling hand with your iron-sharp focus and narrow your eyes. You were not as incapable as before. You were a Doctor. Curing this Child was easy play for you! Failure was not an option!

    You rip out another fang from the vampire's maw and examine with a professional interest his form. Whimpers resound through your law as red eyes beg you to stop. You stop for a moment and clean your hands of the blood before reaching for a scalpel.

    You turn away from the villain and-

    And….and what? This is important. You feel it. Why can you not remember?

    There was….Silver..and black. Leather….A c-

    Suddenly you are thrown off your revelry and you dry heave for a moment. Sweat coats your form and have to fight down the overwhelming desire to scrub yourself to the bone in the longest bath you ever will have.

    You mind is a jumbled mess. You note everything on automatic even as you try to process it all.

    There were….too many wrong things. You don't know even where to begin.

    So you stop thinking and just write. With as much detail as you can, until you arrive at the final memory.

    Then you stop and try to focus, but no matter how hard you fight another flash of pain courses through your mind and you lose the thread. Like a dream dissipating in the morning's gloom.

    But you were nothing if not obstinate. You hype yourself up and set yourself to once again try your hand before something happens.

    [] Your Phone rings. And you decide then and there to change the ringtone a the first chance you have. It was...an unknown number? Your spider-sense starts to tingle even as you bring it to your ear and respond.

    [] A quick and urgent knocking on the door catches your attention and you still. How? This apartment was supposed to be off-limits in the highermost floor. More like an abandoned attic than an apartment really. No one should know about it...then why is your Spider-Sense not saying anything?

    [] Your head rings and it has nothing to do with your migraine. Your body responds before you even can begin to register what is happening. You duck and weave and dully notice a dull "thud" as wood and crystal breaks. Then you feel the laser of a sniper-rifle on your forehead. From the corner of your eyes you notice the bullets are not normal bullets and your stomach drops when you mind registers just who is it you're confronting.

    [] A last minute notification catches your attention on your phone. Out of curiosity you open it and find yourself frowning at the news. A group of young heroes was...fighting against each other? This is...not that far from here. Wait is that Spider-Girl?! The way they're acting...you have a pretty good guess who's behind this.

    [] A tapping on your window makes your head snap up and you meet the impassive lenses of The Scarlet Spider. And he does not look happy.

    Pretty sure this is the Shield option and I still think setting things straight with them first is important, just because of the sheer influence they have.
     
    But why would SHIELD believe us and not just put a bullet in our skull considering how much Ock pissed everyone off

    but the older league will probably be pissed and the older league are who we need to convince.
    All the options have negatives so this isnt any sort of option bashing but this seems to have a bigger chance of backlash on the us in the eyes of the superhero community
    the SHIELD option probably has us being on close watch or agents possibly getting trigger happy
    Kaine could probably try to murder or maim us in our sleep if not right when we we're talking to him
    On the knocking : Actually does anyone have any idea on who that is

    Well, the spidey sense started working as soon as we started putting the phone near our head. So it's likely somebody who has a power or the proper tech to do something through the phone. Maybe somebody with sound-based powers?
