Round 1
King Pyre used Fire Shot
Accuracy: 80+(181-300)*.25=50
Enemy Clownsloth's Dodge Roll: 65 (Pass)
Enemy Clownsloth's HP: 500
Enemy Clownsloth used Fool Claw
Accuracy: 30+(500-368)*.25= 63
King Pyre's Dodge Roll: 6 (Fail)
Damage: 30+500-129=401
King Pyre was knocked out
King Pyre starts off by firing his obligatory opening salvo of Fire Shots, but the Clownsloth is ridiculously fast and dodges the flames. It then closes the distance and counters with a single attack. King Pyre is knocked out in one shot. Holy shit! You're glad you only bet 25 Lucre in this fight because Full Masks don't fucking play. You flash back to the time Verona's Faekat oneshot King Pyre with a single attack.
You thought that it was just because the Kennet Witches were unusually powerful for Full Masks, but that doesn't seem to be the case. It seems that the Kennet Witches are the average power level you can expect from Full Mask tier.
You go home disappointed, but relieved that King Pyre didn't get injured from the battle.
It is now the 1st Week of May. You're reeling from your loss. It seems like Avery caught wind of your match with the Clown guy and is messaging you on Catchbook. You didn't even realize you added her on Catchbook, but you must have at some point.

That was to be expected to be honest, since we haven't been in the game for very long.
I think that at this point we should see what we can do to gain an income stream independent of tournaments, since we are likely to lose a lot from now on.
You feed King Pyre some fish, leaving you with 235 Lucre remaining. You decide the first week should be a rest week as you've got to answer Avery's e-mail.
Lucre: 235
Avery: "Hey, Catch. I heard you lost big time against Bongo. Are you alright? Lucy asked me to give you some advice because I'm the one who has the most experience in sports."
You reply that it's been a long time since you've lost a match.
Avery: "Well, that's fine. I think in sport, it's best to remember that you can't win all the time."
[] Man, Fuck that. Getting to Full Mask so fast made me feel so invincible... (+10% to all stats vs Bongo)
[] Yeah, I guess you're right. (+Relationship with Avery)
Avery: "Regardless, do you want to have a training match against my Catch-Em-Mon? I thought I'd give you some pointers for how Full Mask matches tend to go."
[] Yes (Takes up 3rd week rest slot, +Relationship with Avery)
[] No
Come the third week, Avery messages you and tells you to meet her at Lyons Park. You vaguely remember the place where you fought all the Kennet Witches once.
Avery is with her Impossum. You learn that Snowdrop is actually a name. It's fairly odd for someone to name a Catch-Em-Mon, but you suppose you can't complain since you also named King Pyre.
You commence the mock battle and try out a bunch of strategies. Some of the strategies suggested by Avery are ones you haven't thought of before. Actually, most Sefirans won't think of it, because it's outside the scope of battle. For example, naming her Impossum Snowdrop tends to make others assume that it's a species name and think that it'd be weak to Fire-type and Nature-type moves because of the implied Ice-Type. However, Impossum is actually a Curse-type Catch-Em-Mon with a weakness to Blessing-types.
King Pyre gains a few stats from the training, but didn't seem to tired out. Maybe you should train with Avery more.

So what happened to that 9 defense? It should of been DEF 91, I think this was right before becoming a Half Mask and thus before the stat reduction training. Not sure how much difference 9 DEF would be, but kind of weird it just disappeared.

I'm not much of a planner, though I do wonder how long King Pyre has before needing to retire him. Also, is it just me, or are they discriminatory towards Catch-Em-Mons? Them not being sentient felt more like a lie to justify what can easily be lethal dogfights. Plus I find it weird that naming them is rare, as if people are suppose to just see them as things.
