Catch-Em-Mons Yesod (Game Paused!)

Physical Attack:

Cacmelon attacks: 12+5=17
Firefly Defends: 9+5=14
Cacmelon deals 3 damage. (Firefly: 7/10 HP)

Firefly uses Fire III: 16+6+5=27
Cacmelon Defends: 3+5=8
Firefly deals LETHAL damage. Cacmelon faints.

You: THAT'S FUCKING BULLSHIT.

Red Guard: If it's any condolence, had his roll been one point higher, FIrefly would have wound up hurting itself.

You: NOT HELPING.

Red: Well, the fat kid can go on to Yesod. As for you... Well, go talk to Doctor Luna.

Quest Received! Talk to Doctor Luna

What now?
[] Go to Smiley Playground
[] Go to the Fields on the Outskirts of Town
[] Go to Luna's Lab

...Uh. So. I call hax. I would say that this is when we go renegade and catch all the catch-em-mons ourselves, but Cacmelon is still fainted.

[X] Go to Luna's Lab

(I would like to add that your sideways-Cacmelon is strangely hilarious to see.)

Edit: Oh hey, looks like catch-em-mons might become the half-mask.

That's pretty unanimous, then.

> Luna's Lab

Luna: Oh. Oh dear. What happened here?

You: I'd like you to revive my monster, please.

Luna: Let me just have it for a second. So you lost your initiation match, did you? There IS a tournament coming up in a three months. You might have to train your monster, though. The Town Hall will be happy to lend its services.

Quest Received! Win a Tournament (Join a tournament and win to become a Half-mask)
Quest Received! Train your Monster (Train your monster at the Town Hall)

Now that your monster's good and revived, what do you do next?
[] Go to Smiley Playground

Oh boy. Town Hall is pretty unanimous, then. This is where we get to the BORING part of the quest.

Green: Hello there... you... You.

You: Where's your friend?

Green: It's his day off.

You: So, we're here for training for the tournament coming up in three months?

Green: Oh, that. Just fill this out. The tournament is in three months, so just fill this out, one for each month. And remember to have at LEAST one week of rest per month. Ideally, I mean. I'm not going to stop you if you don't want to let your monster rest, but being tired is going to affect its capabilities, obviously, and you don't want that in a tournament.

You: So, do I just check... EVERYTHING?

Green: What? NO! Are you brain-dead or something? One stat per week.

1st Week: [] VIT [] ATK [] DEF [] MATK []MDEF []WIS []Rest
2nd Week: [] VIT [] ATK [] DEF [] MATK []MDEF []WIS []Rest
3rd Week: [] VIT [] ATK [] DEF [] MATK []MDEF []WIS []Rest
4th Week: [] VIT [] ATK [] DEF [] MATK []MDEF []WIS []Rest

I want to do this sensibly, but I'm sure someone will come up with a more nuanced vote than: HIT THEM WITH TONS OF MAGIC BEANS.

Month One
1st Week: [X]MATK
2nd Week: [X]MATK
3rd Week: [X]rest
4th Week: [X]WIS

Month Two:
1st Week: [X]MATK
2nd Week: [X]MATK
3rd Week: [X]rest
4th Week: [X]WIS

Month Three:
1st Week: [X]MATK
2nd Week: [X]MATK
3rd Week: [X]rest
4th Week: [X]WIS

Sweet schedule.

First training regime to get three supports wins.

Do your support with [x] Plan name by the way.

Sure, why not. Magical glass cannon build.

[X] Plan FixerUpper

I would also be willing to vote for an all VIT build. Cacmelon would just be a spiky lil' ball of HP.

I propose rest on 4th week instead. We'll want to be well-rested right before the tourney.

[x] Plan wdango:

Month One
1st Week: MDEF
2nd Week: DEF
3rd Week: VIT
4th Week: rest

Month Two:
1st Week: ATK
2nd Week: ATK
3rd Week: VIT
4th Week: rest

Month Three:
1st Week: MDEF
2nd Week: DEF
3rd Week: VIT
4th Week: rest

This gives us 2 each of MDEF, DEF, and ATK, and 3 of VIT. We won't really need to spend MP with this build, focusing on regular attacks, and we'll be tankier to deal with a variety of attackers.

That is a very well rounded character. (What I like to call a baseball. They always get smacked around) Now, do our current attack key off our physical attack or our Magic Attack?
