Here goes, then. My attempt to write... something.
Athan Braazmiir, known to some as Sir_Braazmiir, sat back in his chair as his computer booted up. He woke up before his brothers that Saturday morning, so naturally, he was first to the system.
Once he logged on, Athan scrolled through the list of programs he used: Google Chrome, SWTOR, Steam, ahh, there it was! World of Warships, where, as he so eloquently put it, Earth's Fightingest Ships could go head-to-head in old-school naval warfare!
As soon as the game loaded his port of Yokosuka, Athan received a PM from a friend he made a few matches ago named HotelChrysanthemum7445. It was... an embarassing battle, to say the least. But, they did become fast friends over Skype soon after.
HotelChrysanthemum7445: Hello Athan. Do you want to division up?
Sir_Braazmiir: Later. I just mounted Myogi's C hull and I haven't tested it out yet.
HotelChrysanthemum: Very well.
Braazmiir scrolled through his port until he found the ship he mentioned. His Tier IV Japanese BB, the HIJMS Minami (Myogi class). He selected her, loaded her up with choice signals, a Mark 5 camo, and, anchors aweigh, he was off to battle!
Of course, Murphy's Law struck at that moment, and when Athan's match loaded, he took one look at the enemy team before uttering a prayer for his victory. All because one of the OPFOR was... her. His sworn enemy...

So here's the prologue! It's technically a work in progress, and I only accept constructive criticism. It's also somewhat based on Winter's OP from the previous thread, simply because I'm unoriginal (and DAMN proud of it!).
