Born Of An Umbral Star [DxD Quest]

Anath's thought of the day said:
You knew then how this day would end.

With the streets of Babylon filled with the corpses of the young and the damned, its great tower destroyed, and its walls turned to ash.
Like, if you want to spare people, go on and add something like this onto "Show God's wrath" option...

-[]Spare the innocents from your wrath. Don't kill mortals who do not attack you. Give a warning and time for people to vacate the Tower before you destroy it. Try to limit collateral damage.

Otherwise, we will seriously fuck up not just Gods, but the entire city.

Okay. No, it doesn't.

Nothing, absolutely nothing, in the vote said killing the Pantheon. And by definition of Old Testament, 'those unworthy' can apply to 'those filthy heretics serving the false gods' instead of just the 'false gods' and Anath is not a 21st century person applying modern morality. Us vs Them is very much in play here.
The same is with other vote but this time with orders to kill siners and an army.
In first vote we can more probably get an option to spare civilians, in second when God gives you order you don't disobey you do it without question

Basically he sent us with intention to go to war and said it is up to you how to handle this, if we go back it will be up to him.

@Silver Gambit

I think you need to WoG the intent of the "Purge the unworthy" option. Either there is a number of people voting for this under impression that it is far more moderate option than it really is, or some people are fearmongering under a wrongful impression of Anath's character.

Regardless, as of now, if any option wins, at least somebody is going to be salty about how the option they voted for really wasn't what they thought it was.

Purge the unworthy is more along the lines of killing the part of the pantheon that's in front of you.

IIRC your not going to be able to blitz through the entire city before others from Heaven arrive unless you want to just Nuke the entire city in an instant.
Which Annath would like to not do unless absolutely necessary.

Im not exactly sure what you mean by this.

THe options seem pretty clear. One is retreat and ask God what we should do, the other is to proceed with our perception of God's intent in sending three Archangels of Destruction because, to quote her ""Father wants this done quickly, legitimately and easily," it felt weird having to even explain these things, "and if they refuse us any of these then the spirit of destruction will already be in their homes."" The Pantheon are the perpetrators, not the entire human populace

EDIT: THat said, its always possible you get their zealots and lesser deities attempting to force our hand, in so much as they are even capable of forcing us to do anything.

[X] Tell Baraquiel and Sachiel to fly the prisoners to Heaven as fast as possible while you stay behind to show those unworthy the power of God's wrath.

Well, the QM hath spoken. This should be exciting, at least.

Have a feeling that part about Ishtar is going to be a pain in the ass. What's Gil doing right now, anyways?

Well, the Epic is going to look a whole lot more different in this verse, that's for sure.

[x] Tell Baraquiel and Sachiel to fly the prisoners to Heaven as fast as possible while you stay behind to show those unworthy the power of God's wrath.

Its going to end with Gil and Enkidu reuniting followed by the words "But everything changed when the Angels attacked and started to Fuck. Shit. Up."
Also somewhere in the future where Anath is, for some inexplicable reason, going to school with the main cast and in history they are talking about the fall of Babylon but there is stuff wrong and she is correcting it followed by being asked how she is an authority on the matter with her answering "I was there. Why do you think Babylon fell?"

Its the historic version, it sounds a lot more impressive if you tell them that there was more than one angel needed to kick your entire pantheons teeth in.
Ehh. That Pantheon tried to murder Enkidu. If anything, Gil is going to relish the fact that those assholes got rolled over by a single angel, and historians are going to write what Gil says they should write.

Hmm right, Gil will be the one writing history so it will probably not very flattering towards the gods.
