decided to just think about this hypothetical meeting of different X's from different timelines, quests, and one special guest. I just look at more and more powerful variations that can both fight back and protect and just be as powerful as it takes (oh wings, one of their reflections is an Anomaly!) and just imagine just ... Awkward and a little pathetic X from "hope in bottle" who is just very socially awkward, and looks at all this variety of what he could have been, but did not. (period supposedly reminiscing about the past) and just ... He hides in the shadows. They don't really notice him. Everyone else is too strong and found their own light and self-sufficient and cool and... Social anxiety is everything. You just look at people and understand that they are much better off without you. In short, a bunch of self-humiliation and just... Awareness that you are not them and will not be them. And at the moment of the next circle of the spiral of self-humiliation, someone sits down next to him with a heavy sigh. Perhaps even accidentally sits on it without noticing it. Perhaps they will be afraid of each other and then there will be very awkward chatter, full of embarrassment, curses, and hasty apologies. And aot, having got out of the tangled robes and curtains, the two X will finally be able to see each other better... Though you might want to be more specific, alot of fixers in the halls these days due to following something into the shadows or shuffled off the mortal coil with enough light, lost and stumbling in the darkness
