couple mistakes you have made.
Firstly: there is No such thing as Necro on SV.
its not against the rules.
COMPLAINING about them is though.

Second, this is a thread about the anime, not a story thread, necros Doubly don't apply.

and Third: the person you are complaining about is the Creator Of The Thread, who is not only allowed to necro their own thread, but they can double post in it as well as far as i know.

you were on here since 2019, i expected better...

I appreciate the revival since I only check my unread. I'm glad you can join me in enjoying the anime original Uryu clips and the animation that makes the fights live up to teenage me's expectations. Yamma vs YWHA is great because it was able to show how fucking hot his BanKai is and its still one of the best one Kubos ever made.
 
Watched the English dub, didn't expect The Smash Bros Announcer/Master Hand and "Joker" himself Xander Mobus to be a part of the cast, Very Pleasantly surprised,

Perhaps the Jailer should have made the prisoners "settle it in SMASH" to prove their worth instead of just spearing them :V

4. episode four is a huge step up from 3 and really makes you start fearing and most importantly respecting the power of the Quincy

5. Didn't expect Bernices power to work like that, I admit it is narmful, I would've assumed the "Question" would be like questioning your life and your allies... Instead it was " I QUESTION YOU KENPACHI, I QUESTION YOU! I QUESTION YOUR ENTIRE EXISTENCE! QUESTION!!! (Dies) I bursted into laughter at that- Also Rukia was revealed to be defeated by Sternritter "P" which wasn't shown in the manga

6. This episode earned it's high reviews... This episode here is what I LOVE about BLEACH, the Music, the animation, the choreography and the pathos are at their A game here.

Also did you know the guy "RetroRyno" who made that fananimation I showed some pages back worked on this episode... Very proud of him

damn Sasikibe got one hell of a glowup in this adaptation. He and Yamamoto were nearly the ones to take down Ywach
I also really liked the look into the original Gotei 13 we got this episode 8

Its kinda sad that Chojuro is only interesting after he dies. How did he go from this to being knocked out in one hit by Ichigo, and then proceed to do nothing for the rest of the series

i like the idea that
Quincy
Zangetsu recognized him and gave Ichigo a Little bit more power for that hit.

So what do people think of the arc so far? Its been good, nowhere near perfect and has its Flaws but still good.

The first epsidoe escpially the first part was very good. Very good way to reintroduce everyone. Even if Going all out and Bankai was silly, the whole point was to look cool which succeeded

They gave a better reason for why the four captains did bankai than the manga did. Though still don't understand why Sufi-fend used her bankai instead of Shunko. She hates her bankai

Yamamoto vs "Ywach" was good only the ending was bad, due to they way he died. Honestly his fight should have been at least 2-3 episodes. With one being essentially a flashback of the first war. While the second should have been Ywach and Yamamoto fighting each other with Kido, Shikai, physical attacks and arrows, with the third one being the bankai fight. Yamamoto death could have been fixed by having the W sternritter hiding in Ywach shadow deflecting his attack

They did skip things that were kinda necessary, don't know why they skipped Byakuya telling Renji about Chojoru or why they skipped the whole Royd and Loyd backstory as that was necessary. The jump from talking to the royal guard to being launched by Kukkkau was honestly random and should have had an explanation.

The whole who beat up Rukia thing wasnt necessary and was pointless since she was just standing around doing nothing. It would have been better if she was fighting than it would have been good.

The whole Bankai breaking thing will never not be dumb, but its been years so over it, and not worth the effort to get upset over

The royal guard have good voices hopefully the three not named Oetsu and Ichibie actually do something
 
I am continually frustrated by how close this show gets to being really good. Between the Bankai dealing tech and Blut Vein, Kubo developed this fascinating narrative of the Quincies being more powerful than Soul Soviet not because they were stronger, but because they had spent the last thousand years preparing for this war and had developed spiritual techniques and technology which gave them a decisive edge in combat (and the *themes* that opens up!).

Thid allows Kubo to both open with his patented "the enemy is so strong it trivializes our previously built up protagonists" he loves so much *and* keep the training arcs he enjoys by having the goal of his protagonists he to develop/recreate new *techniques* rather than to simply get the next power up. It's absolutely *genius*.

And then Ichigo fights Ywach and reveals he's learned how to use Blut Vein, revealing that the SR's can do it to. For a moment you can see the shape of the entire arc unveiling before you eyes ...

Then you learn no, none of that matters. Ichigo can do that because he's a secret Quincy and actually this arc will be the same as all the others.

Don't worry this is the last time he ever uses his quincy powers. Also being part everything is a bad thing.
If Ywach didn't consume the soul king than Ichigo would have been sacrificed and become the new soul king. Stuck in an cant scream situation and stuck in a crystal maintaining the worlds.l

(Glances around) is no one gonna mention that Ebern had what seemed to be a French accent (maybe?). I mean I dig it, it's just not what I was expecting.

Reminded me of Saltzas dub voice from Dragonball :lol:
 
Watched the newest episode
Was dang good

But I also noticed something missing from the last episode
WE WERE ROBBED OF TURNIP RENJI AND PEACH RUKIA, truly we are in the bad timeline :anger:
