The Blood Moon Shines Beneath the Shadow of the Sun
Just watch, this could be...educational wins!

As Villain predicted, the boy is forced to fight...though it is through his own actions and not those of the ninja this time. No doubt anticipating hostility, the boy attacks like a feral animal, with claws and fangs, and blood red glowing eyes. A sight that would scare many. But he isn't fighting the many that it would scare, he's fighting trained assassins, killers, ninja.

Moving in a blur of speed, though not too fast for Villain to follow, the boy dodges several counterattacks, ducks a kunai swipe, and pounces on the ninja in front of him. He moves in a rhythm of viciousness as he cuts one throat, bites out another with his long, sharp fangs, and intercepts a sword thrust that is meant for the girl beside him by sinking fangs into the hand. Not wasting any time, the boy bites down, severing the hand, as the blood sprays all over him and the attacking ninja holds his arm in agony and disbelief.

At that moment, several water jutsu are launched, water bullets and missiles, all aimed not for the feral black haired boy, but towards the white-haired little girl, curiously enough. The boy jumps into the path of the jutsu, utilizing the full extent of his speed to do so, and is hit head on, suffering his first bit of damage in this short, but brutal battle that resembles a hunt. As the dust clears, the boy stands there panting, tired and damaged with one eye closed, bruises on his body and open wounds that...aren't bleeding oddly enough. He snarls and his eyes glow brighter, deeper, redder, as blood rises from the the necks of his former victims and act like tendrils as they surround him. Blood also shoots forward from the severed arm and forms a blade, cutting the throat of one of the ninja who launched the jutsu assault.

The boy roars as the blood flows into him, healing his wounds. He opens his eyes and looks...good, fresh, unharmed, as tendrils of blood continue to surround him. He then speaks his first word (s) of the encounter, and possibly his last.

"Shine." He says quietly, and the battle transforms into what else but a blood bath. At the boy's word, blood itself begins to stabs through the remaining ninja, through and through in the form of a drilling tendril, as the blood seems to drin from their bodies and surround the boy, giving him more weapons to work with. The boy looks around with animalistic rage, looking for more prey, for more threats to his and the girl's safety. He finally see one, Villain, and he sneers, almost daring the masked man to do something, anything, so he can attack.

Villain says nothing and does nothing, wanting to see if the boy could see the hidden attackers and act appropriately. He doesn't. Not until they drop down, with their blades out and thrusting, all aiming for the girl once more. Villain raises an eyebrow in mild surprise. These seemed to be rebels, enemies of the official Mist Nin who just fought, and were killed by this boy. How is it that they both agree that he needs to be dealt with? And why do they both seem to only attack the girl? Sure it works, as the boy is seemingly willing to take any hit for her, but why? Why does the boy do this? Why does he protect her? Is she the target or is he? Is she simply his weakness they're trying to capitalize on? How do they know this? Obviously this isn't the first, second, third, fourth, or fifth battle they've had with this boy. Hence the rumors, but still...

The rebel ninja descend, swords out, and attempt to gut the girl, but the boy is faster, covering her with his body, and copious amounts of blood. The blood hardens in an instant, and while the swords make it through, it slows them down enough to only pierce the boy, rather than run him through and damage the girl as well.

Villain tilts his head and assesses the damage. The boy is hit in several vital places: the heart, the eye and into the brain, the throat, the lung, and he has a few holes in his limbs, some of them cutting crucial arteries. Still the boy fights, roaring in defiance as he grabs the swords and snaps them with primal strength. The harden blood turns into spikes as the ninja are forced away, and the boy is happy to give chase. These ninja however are stronger than the previous riff raff the boy just dealt with, and even just one of them seems to be a match for the boy's rage, for his increased speed and strength that they mitigate through their skill.

The boy is tough, vicious, and a right monster, filled with the prime directive of killing his foes and protecting this girl. And in the end it just isn't enough. While the boy is slowly wearing down the superior ninja he's currently targeting, no doubt a special jounin at least, and will eventually win the fight, it's taking too long and thus giving the other ninja the opportunity to either attack him from behind, or to attack the girl. With their numbers, they do both, one of the ninja rushing towards the girl, with the other six rushing to flank him.

Villain has watched with curiosity for now but...if he wants the boy and the girl to survive then he'll need to interfere. What does he do?

[] Save the girl
[] Intercept the ninja rushing to flank
[] Kill the ninja the boy is already fighting
[] Do nothing. Continue to watch.

The Sun Shines Upon The Moon With Favor
[Z] Save the girl

Villain makes a split second decision as he raises his gun and fires. BANG! The ear-shattering sound of the bullet alerts everyone on the battlefield to his presence.

"Traveling at speeds imperceptible, the bullet terminates those I find unacceptable." Villain says simply, as silence seems to take over the battlefield.

The ninja watch, frozen in shock as their comrade falls, a brand new hole...well actually there's more hole than head left, so they watch as their ally falls, decapitated from a strange but loud projectile, as a strange man in a mask speaks in riddles.

But these men are professionals. There is no cry of anguish, or yell of revenge, or contemplation of the man's words, there is only a repurposing, a refocus of importance, as the six backup ninja split up into groups of three: one group aiming for the feral boy, while the other approaches the masked man and the seemingly defenseless girl, with two of the three focusing on the new enemy.

In the time it takes for the ninja to re-assess and re-allocate, the boy and his blood attacks hard and fast, shattering the bone that dares come between them and their prey, as the currently engaged shinobi raises his arm to block. This time professionalism loses out, as the injured shinobi attempts to grit his teeth and keep himself composed, but inadvertently whimpers a bit as he cradles his now-useless arm.

The boy gives no quarter and looks to shred his enemy, with all of his might, forcing the other three shinobi to quickly intervene. Without them, this fight is already over, vastly sped up by the grievous injury. As the other three Mist Ninja join in, the boy now finds himself on the defense, pushed back and nearly overwhelmed if not for his sheer will and animal-like ferocity.

Villain doesn't have much time to observe his fight however, as he has another important decision to make. These Mist Ninja, the ones attacking him, are no slouches, and are closing in at decent speeds. At the same time, the Mist Ninja attacking the girl has almost reached her. If Villain attacks the two coming towards him, then it's likely the girl gets caught.

But if he helps her, then the ninja will reach him, and he's not built for close combat. He wouldn't die by any means, but in a certain train of thought, any injury to his person is unacceptable. On the other hand, the girl is presumably innocent and has shown absolutely nothing as far as combat capability. If she's hit once, it's likely she dies, while Villain himself can certainly weather an attack or two.

Villain...

[] Shoots the two men coming towards him
[] Uses his EMP Gun to do a quick takedown of all three men
[] Fires lightning from his gauntlet to kill the remaining enemy ninja
[] Simply moves out of the way. This still isn't his fight
[] Moves to cover the girl and protect her from harm
