Well the original char with that power only said bend when frustrated. Is Taylor forced to say that corny thing everytime? Feels bad to read.

I don't think she is forced to, rather it's probably the easiest way to make her mind focus on triggering her eyes.
After some time, I'd imagine Taylor would be able to elicit that mindset mentally and eventually instinctively (though that may cause some problems in itself).

I'm not sure whether this is true or not, but I think Fujino saying 'bend' when stressed was more her trying to recall the power trip she had after killing her abusers rather than actually activating her eyes. She was terrified of Ryougi and was desperately trying to bring back her sense of security/power that she felt after her first kills so she reverted back to screaming 'bend' like she did back when she started using the power.

Taylor however doesn't have the kind of trauma that would lead her to shout out 'bend' when activating her eyes under duress. Once she learns how to instinctively use it without a verbal or mental trigger, she'd have no reason to say 'bend' outside of bouts of edginess.

Ill admit that it did seem pretty cheesy in the fight. Her bending the mirror was cheesy. If she wants to avoid murdering the trio in anger, she wouldn't purposefully bend the mirror at the school. Taylor is the type to bottle the anger and wait for it to disappear rather than destroying things, especially thing on site seconds after the event that made her angry.

This story does seem rushed, it seems to jump from climax to climax while skipping all the buildup in between. Jumping from Taylor uncharacteristically intentionally destroying a mirror after being bullied to Taylor fighting Lung makes this story feel as though its focused on "How cool it would be if Taylor had [X] power" rather than actually exploring the world and how it changes if Taylor had a different power.

Expand on it a lot more.

Show how Taylor has changed with the ability to destroy anything she sees with little effort.
Present her struggles to not rend her school tormentors assunder.
Expand on how Taylor's relationship with Danny has changed with her hiding a power made purely for destruction as opposed to 'useless bug powers'.
Explain why her character has changed to fulltime edgelord as opposed to wannabe heroine.

Tell the whole story, not just the highlights.

They weren't the ones that I was worried about though, it was the large tattoed shirtless man with the dragon mask that I was worried about.

It wasn't the bunch of regular humans that had me worried, no it was the large shirtless man with tattoos and a dragon mask on his face. That was the guy that had me worried.

This is mostly a duplicate, I believe.
