Hmmm. I need to think on how this will work mechanic wise in the quest. Since I didn't include a way for you to do that this chapter, just go ahead and vote. I'll be sure to include some fire reading in the next one. Sorry. I should have considered this earlier.

how long does it take us to see things in the flames? If it takes only a few seconds then checking out the near future would be a viable option to take before committing to a course of action?

I changed my mind. I can always change how this works next time. It doesn't seem fair to deprive you of information you should have. Dice roll for each read.

The Lion: You look into your lighter, thinking hard about The Lion. You see a large man (about The Lion's proportions), lying on his back, laughing. He's holding a drink.

Leroy: You see Leroy in the flames. He is on the ground, curled in a ball. He is kneeling. He is smirking. He is frowning.

D.C.: You see... a brain connected to a webbing of intricate machinery.

Now the question becomes if our prophecy is Greek, Germanic, or Semitic in nature, or something else entirely. I'm unfamiliar with Dark Souls prophecies, so...

@theimpetus are these visions this taking the currently winning vote in consideration? Also, the bigger the number the better? If so...

Lion: Gonna be busy for a while, let's take everything outside his armory, since anything missing there would mean he knows someone knows who he is.
Leroy: ...Let's NOT kill the fucker. Not now.
D.C: Let's stay away until we have some more stuff and people. Contact with anyone, trusted or not is ill advised there. This also means we should NOT try to place a Skull symbol on Lion's armory. The shithole we live in is going to be our home for a while and stirring the hornet's nest is not going to help us.

I just called it Bearer Seek Seek Lest as a joke, really.

[X] [Now?] Screw it. You already started, you might as well finish. If this is his lair, he probably has some valuable and potentially useful gear. Then stash the stuff.
- [X] [Now?] Leave the symbol of his nemesis, Skull, on the wall. He'll be too scared at the idea that his enemy figured out his secret identity to actually figure out the truth.
[X] [Shark] Kill him, and those goons he keeps sending after you. The dead don't collect debts.
[X] [Investigate] Don't make contact with anybody. You relocated here from D.C., and created this identity for a reason. You'll find some other way to look into it.

[x] [Shark] Sell the shit you stole, and pay him some of what you got. Tell him it's all you have.
- [x] [Shark] Offer to do a job for him in the meantime.
[x] [Investigate] It's time to look into the people that kidnapped you, and gave you these powers.
- [x] [Investigate] Talk to your old buddy, Derrick, at the agency. He's a finance guy, and a project like this costs money. If the CIA is the one behind this, he'll know something useful, but he might not want to tell you…

[X] [Now?] Re-lock the hidden doors and leave the armory untouched, but continue to rob the house. He doesn't need to know the thief uncovered his identity. Then stash the stuff.

Take everything that's not related to his Ultrahero Life.

[X] [Shark] Sell the shit you stole, and pay him as much as you can. You'll find some other way to get the rent, and food.

Killing Leroy might bite us in the ass. We have our ways of getting dough.
Also, don't take a job from him. It might be a suicide mission.

[X] [Investigate] Don't make contact with anybody. You relocated here from D.C., and created this identity for a reason. You'll find some other way to look into it.

Let's not go to D.C. until we have more manpower and resources.

[X] The Oldman

Eh, let's go with the Oldman's idea for now. Keep things simple, prevent anyone (like Lion, Skull, Or Leeroy) from trying to kill use before we've got a plan.

Besides, we can always boost cars. Or check for people on vacation.

Do we have any way to discreetly take a picture? Maybe a camera we just stole? I think there would be a lot of people interested in evidence of the Lion's real identity. We could get a ton of dish from something like that if we play our cards right. Or we could reveal it publicly. We'd get a metric asston of heat from the do-gooders buy I guarantee you we'd be the talk of town in the supervillain community.

If nothing else we could always use it as a way to get the Lion to back off from us for a while. ("Play nice with us alone or I'll reveal your secret identity to the whole world!")

Good plan. We can also give it to Skull at a later point if we ever need to set those 2 against each other ASAP.

How's this sound?

[X] [Now?] Use our phone to record the footage of the Lion's secret identity. Then re-lock the doors and keep robbing the house. Then stash the stuff.
[X] [Shark] Sell the shit you stole, and pay him as much as you can. You'll find some other way to get the rent, and food.

I also considered cutting a deal with the loan shark where we let him search for a buyer for our picture/video footate and get the reward in exchange for cancelling the debt. The plan was to integrate ourselves in his group of goons while he was busy doing that, stab him in the back, make it look like a hit job from a different supervillain who thought the loan shark was trying to swindle him, then take over the loan shark's business and keep the picture. But I figured it was just too convoluted and relied on too many things we didn't know.

Pretty good, actually. I am not fond of getting Skull involved - too many lies quickly become too costly to maintain. If he thinks his secret identity is figured out, then he goes all out against Skull rather than pipes down, and the whole thing is bound to fall through sooner rather than later.

[X] [Now?] Use a stolen camera to take pictures/video footage (depending on what kind of camera we can find) of the Lion's secret identity as evidence. Then re-lock the doors and make off with whatever ill-gotten gains we already took.

You have your phone. If you don't want to use it, you can look for a camera.
Alright. I changed the plan up a but then. I Figured we'd have some more time to rob the house if we didn't have to look for a camera.
Then again, maybe getting a better camera would make the whole thing more believable? Like, maybe grainy cellphone footage would be easier too fake and so less likely to be believed?
Let me know what you guys think/prefer.

@Nevill I merged your 'take a picture' vote with the others. Is that alright?

So what actually won?

I'm not sure what you mean...

EDIT: The vote is not closed. There's still 24 hours. These are the votes in the lead:

[x] [Investigate] It's time to look into the people that kidnapped you, and gave you these powers.
- [x] [Investigate] Talk to your old buddy, Derrick, at the agency. He's a finance guy, and a project like this costs money. If the CIA is the one behind this, he'll know something useful, but he might not want to tell you…

[X] [Shark] Kill him, and those goons he keeps sending after you. The dead don't collect debts.

EDIT: Combined for similarity. However, the picture will not be taken unless it wins the majority.
[X] [Now?] Re-lock the hidden doors and leave the armory untouched, but continue to rob the house. He doesn't need to know the thief uncovered his identity. Then stash the stuff.
