Hm. So currently, Azula's lightning is something of an alpha strike / assassination weapon. Ordinarily it'd a Trump card you pull out, but that's discluded by virtue of needing all of her aura.

Well I assume that if we get better at controlling our aura we might be able to use it in other situations, but for now it is pretty much an all or nothing style attack.

For a bit now, I've been sort of getting the feeling that Glynda is attempting to become a mother figure for Azula.

I'm curious as to how we will interact with Weiss, because Azula would easily be able to figure out that the heiress to one of the worlds most influential companies is a valuable ally/pawn.

If her Semblance does have some kind of truth-detection property, that's just about the most valuable thing for Azula's treatment and helping her build trust of others anyone could possibly wish for. Well, providing that she's interacting with genuinely well-intentioned characters, which she is.

And, assuming she doesn't grow suspicious of it - which seems more likely to happen should she reveal it to others. As a hidden ability, "they" cannot plan around it.

Based on how the semblence works, it seems to actually read their INTENT, more than the truthyness of the words.

So it doesn't really change much except for white lies. If you're showering her with technical truths, it'd still flare liar liar pants on fire.
And then Azula sets their pants on fire.

And their shirts. And their face. And oh who am I kidding, she sets everything on fire that will burn.

Fire is a good motivator and Azula simply amplifies this by a factor of twelve:

Zuko: If the Earth Kingdom finds us, they'll have us killed.
Iroh: But if the Fire Nation discovers us, we'll be turned over to Azula.
*Twin Thoughtful Expression*
Zuko and Iroh: Earth Kingdom it is then.

[X] Plan Reading Rainbow

So in the update Azula says she doesn't want to discuss her visions with the therapist, then the first plan proposed has "Schedule extra therapy sessions to see if you can get to the bottom of these visions." As well as another out of character choice in choosing to tell Beacon about her semblance. Its like some people can't even be bothered to pretend to acknowledge that Azula is an established character, with an established characterization.
