Awaken! (JJBA/Avatar)

Are you sure that we shouldn't go for ACDC instead? He is a better tactician, and the second oldest pillar man.
Going after Santana second gets us access to Stone Masks, however, and that will let us start building up a force of vampire grunts. Either's good, that's just my preference.

Forgot to mention that you can make mote stone masks yourself if you have a suitable workshop and the proper materials.

One of the abandoned Air Temples would be great for a workshop once we meet up with the other Pillar Men.

[X] See if the pitiful human has any modes of transport that we can take, and then set out to link up with Whamuu.
- [X] And then eat said pitiful human.

We've been asleep for a long time and we've got a long journey ahead of us, we'd better deal with the munchies!

Wait, wasn't Santana the name that Stroheim gave the first Pillar Man? They just decide to go along with it for some reason.

How did the rest of them even hear about it, anyway?

Aren't places sometimes named after people, idea, myth. Maybe Santana passed himself off as a god to get the populace search for the gem he himself couldn't find. It wouldn't be out of place for the worshipers to name an area after a god and even considering new languages some places keep their name just converted into the new language.

"I require fast travel to the Southern Air Temple. Do you have a vehicle that could accommodate that?" You ask. You want to reach Wamuu as fast as possible. Out of all the Pillar Men you have the best idea where he might be and he is by far the strongest fighter. Maybe even stronger than you. And if the history books are to be believed you were going to need him. The Avatar has been missing for the hundred years. He must have spend all that time training to overthrow the Fire Nation and end you and yours once and for all. He was not to be underestimated under any circumstance.

The Avatar has always been an extremely annoying thorn in your sides. Whenever you'd come close to the Red Stone he came to snatch it away from right under your nose. There had been several centuries during which the Avatar had even made sure that the Red Stone would be passed on to the next Avatar, just to keep it out of your reach! All the work of that despicable Wan. When you chose to remain in the physical world rather than return to the spirit world when Wan closed the Polar Gates he had taken offense to that. He had dared to claim that you were a menace to all that lives, aiming only to destroy and hunt! Such a preposterous claim! You wouldn't kill all life. Only most of humanity, turning whatever remained into cattle, and all Spirits who'd try to stand in your way. You honestly don't see the problem.

"Well, I have this hot air balloon, but that's only an unfinished prototype." The Mechanist said, scratching the back of his head. "In it's current state you are unable to control its flight. It would just go up as high as the hot air can carry you, fly as long as you have enough fuel and then ultimately crash."

You consider it for a moment and reject the idea. If you were to be taken to an area without copious amounts of shadow or in completely the wrong direction that could have disastrous consequences, even if you could keep a lot of the light away from your body using the light refracting properties of your blades. You could of course spend some more time here to work on a solution, but time was of the essence. "What time of day is it? It's hard to tell from so deep inside a structure." You inquired. It was time for you to get a move on.

"Hold on." The Mechanist said, walking over to three peculiar looking candles and peering at them intensely. "According to my Time Candles the sun has just set." He informed you with a satisfied smile on his face, happy that his invention was working as intended. You knew that feeling all to well.

"Then I must be going. I have a long trip ahead of me." You say as you begin to walk out. You still know the way through these halls, so navigation isn't really a problem.

"Wait up!" The Mechanist on the other hand was getting fairly annoying. You sigh silently and turn your head to see the man run after you. "It would be bad of me to not show such a revered guest as yourself out."

You supposed you could tolerate him a little longer. Yes... He could still prove himself useful to you. You are awfully peckish, after all. Humans don't taste nearly as good as Vampires, nor are they as nutritious, but they weren't so bad that they were completely inedible. On your way to the gates of the temple you were joined by an even more pathetic Human who had lost the use of his legs. He and the Mechanist began chatting in hushed voices. Although you could perfectly hear them you didn't care enough to listen or berate them.

Finally having reached the gate, you turned around one more time and extended a hand towards the Mechanist who foolishly took it, sealing his fate. "Farewell Human." You say before starting to suck him dry. Noticing what was happening the man tried to pull his hand away in horror, but it was「 useless 」. The man shot one last glance filled with love for his son and even more fear for his life at the wheelchair bound teen before his internal structure was removed and he slumped to the ground like a deflated balloon. His son was frozen in terror for a single moment before his fight or flight instinct kicked in. Surprisingly enough he chose the latter option and punched you abs with all his might...
Which accomplished absolutely nothing aside from feeding you his right hand. You are amused by his screams of pain and decide to give him 'the honour of spending more time in your presence'. Read: A slow and painful death.
You flick your finger at his forehead, knocking off a considerable piece of flesh and bone and then slowly bisected the boy by cutting off his useless legs from the waist, relishing in the screams the shredding of his flesh and pulverization of his bones were eliciting from the young man. You were very careful to only hit parts of his body that would not cause immediate death. You gave him about 8 hours to bleed out or less than that if the pain would cause him to go in shock.

"Sayonara." You say in a sing-a-song voice as you wave the boy goodbye, who screams something unintelligible at you as a reply, and begin your descent down the massive spire on which the temple was built. You travel till midnight, having crossed several mountains by then, until you see lights ahead of you in the mountain forest you were currently traversing.

Check it out?
[] Yes, there might be something of note there.
-[] How do you go about the investigation?
[] No, just continue on.
-[] Where do you seek shelter from the morning sun?

That took me way longer than I wanted it to. Sorry about that.
Also, Kars is a massive, uncaring asshole. Refreshing to write a character like that for once.

-[X] Investigate covertly. No need to announce our arrival to the pathetic humans until we're good and ready.

Aww, poor Mechanist and Teo :(

Oh well, we're playing as Kars afterall.
