"I am the Servant Caster. I ask of you, are you my Master?" Even as the words automatically leave your mouth, you can already tell that the young girl in front of you is your master. You can feel the connection between Master and Servant providing you with mana. It seems that she has quite a lot of it, more than you would have expected in such a young girl.
More concerning, however, is well-being, or lack of it really. She's completely naked and covered in blood, at least some of which is definitely hers. What's more, you seem to have been summoned in and old forest, in the middle of winter. You can't imagine what the poor thing has gone through but it's clear that you need to help her right now, or your Master is going to die.
"A Caster? But that shouldn't-" Your Master says, rather than answer your question. The puzzled way she looks at you would be adorable in any other circumstance, but right now it just makes you worry. What sort of little girl tries to figure out what went wrong with her summoning ritual, when she has more immediate concerns like bleeding out or freezing to death? You're beginning to think that there's something strange going on with your Master.
But that doesn't matter at the moment. You interrupt your Master's pondering by projecting a cloak, heavy and warm but child-sized, with a snap of your fingers. You even match her colors, red with a white fur lining. The world will of course attempt to destroy the projection, but that won't happen for at least half a day. And in the meantime, it's warm and will maintain your Master's decency until real clothes can be found.
You kneel down into the snow, which is only necessary since you tower over your young charge, and wrap the cloak around your Master's shoulders. Despite being sized properly for her small frame, she still practically disappears into it. It's rather adorable.
Right, warmth is checked off. Next, you need to take care of her injuries. Unfortunately, you've never really had much talent in that direction. To do things properly, you'll need to set up a workshop where you can get started on potions and poultices. The best you can do right now is just a quick spell to seal her wounds and prevent infection.
"Ysbrydion Natur, iachwch y plentyn hwn." As you speak the words in your native Welsh, you're hand begins to glow with a soft, green light. For most of your spells, only a single word or two is necessary, with a rare basic few, like your projection earlier, needing no words at all. The fact that your healing spell needs an entire line just goes to show how unfamiliar you are with healing magics.
Your Master, stubborn little girl that she is, is still thinking more about who you are than her own safety. "The catalyst should have summoned Saber again, or at the very least a Knight of the Round. Who are you? Morgan le Fey?"
You manage to hold your tongue. Even being compared to your jealous hack of a half-sister was insulting back when you were alive, but to actually be mistaken for her? Your Master has no idea how insulted you feel right now and that's actually what's holding you back from giving her the tongue-lashing of the century. She's just a child after all, and she's only just met you. She doesn't know any better.
You wrap the girl in a warm hug and lift her up to carry her. She struggles at first but relaxes when you begin to stroke her silken hair. "Hush, my child. There will be time for questions later. For now, let us get you to safety."
Your Master mumbles something like consent, her voice muffled thanks to burying her face into the fur lining of your own cloak. You turn to leave but the sound of growling reaches your ears. Exiting the underbrush, a pack of wolves arrives to surround you and your Master. Wild animals have rarely been a true threat to you, and seeing how these wolves are even smaller than the ones found in Britain, they have no chance of harming you or your Master. But still, this is an issue that has to be dealt with.
[] Just kill the beasts with magic. The easiest and fastest solution.
[] Summon a blade to kill them with. It's been awhile since you swung a sword and it would be good to check your skills as a Servant.
[] A pack of wolves, once properly tamed and enhanced, would make for good familiars. Dominate their minds and take them for your own.
Okay, this took longer than I would have liked. It doesn't help that of all the masters I offered, I probably know Illya the least well. Anyway, I'll try and write up a character sheet for Caster soon.
