    I am sending you this letter to inform you of an upcoming apocalypse. In six months, a viral outbreak will begin that will lead to the collapse of civilization due to zombies. I am informing you in order to amuse myself at your attempts to survive. Please feel free to prepare as you wish.

    The letter appeared without fanfare in front of you as you were making breakfast. Your eggs burned on the stove as you read and reread it. You wouldn't have believed it if it hadn't appeared out of nothing before your eyes. After putting out the fire from breakfast, you sit down and take stock of your situation.

    Your name is John Smith and you are the landlord of a small apartment building in a generic city on the East Coast of the United States. It has four floors and 14 units, 12 of which are full. Your tenants are:

    1. Mrs. Migillicuddy, an elderly woman
    2. John and Martin Roberts, a gay couple
    3. Eddie Rodriguez, a hispanic man
    4. The Johnsons, a couple with a newborn child
    5. David Martin, your weed dealer
    6. Steven Gray, a young black man
    7. Elizabeth Muthee, a Kenyan immigrant
    8. Sarah Williams, a young woman
    9. The Lees, a couple with two young children
    10. Markus Sandoval, a retired man
    11. The O'Donnells, an older couple
    12. The Garrisons, a couple with a young son

    You don't know what to do!


    A/n: This is a riot quest where you will be taking over one of the inhabitants of the building, all of whom have been informed of the future disaster and made immune. You will craft backstories, complete objectives, and generally try to survive. First come, first serve as to take a role.

    If I'm allowed to write the backstory:

    Father: Anthony Lee - Handyman. Owns a lawn and maintenance service, with nearly a half-million in annual revenue. Handles stuff at this apartment sometimes, but otherwise has mostly delegated himself out of hands-on work. Has slightly more free time than his wife, for now. If it's mechanical, he can fix it.
    Mother: Brigita Lee - Functional Medicine Doctor. Very thankful for the emergence of telemedicine, which allows her to spend considerably more time with her two young children (and husband). If the human body is having problems, she probably knows how to fix it (or make it worse).
    First child (7): Annabeth Lee - Likes to draw. Or eat cookies.
    Second child (5): Roland Lee - Likes to build with blocks. Or play video-games.
     
    Richard Johnson: Works as a plumber when not needed for childcare. Has drastically cut down his hours since Helen's birth.
    Olivia Johnson: Works as a defense attorney specializing in Constitutional Law. Currently on maternity leave.
    Helen Johnson: Female newborn. According to her mother and father, "the most adorable baby ever".
     
    David Martin is a small part time actor, in a larger criminal ring, he procures the weed and sells it to select clients. Division of labor, and information means he doesn't know many people inside the organization itself, but he has a pretty penny, and knows how to procure pretty much any illicit good, for the right price. He knows how to grow weed, but the apartment he is currently based in doesn't allow him to make his own strains.

    David Martin, will be using his criminal contacts to get a hold of various guns, and ammo.
    Guns: 2 Mossberg 930 Tactical 8 Shot, 1 Suppressed Barrett Sniper Rifle, 6 .357 Magnum Revolvers, and Assault Rifles.
    Ammo(Each gun will have a respective version): Armor Piercing, Regular, Flechette, Incendiary(Dragon's breath), Bolo, and Hollow Nose, and scattershot.
