Don't even need that to happen. Delaware Bay-->Delaware River, which flows pretty darn close to Philly.Carrnage said:
Well, if I wanted to read about a psychotic Taylor there's always that Carnage story.CrawlingChaos74 said:I've been rereading the Alchemical Manual and I've been wondering how an Apostate Taylor would change things.
Dammit Carnage you need to work on your comedic timing you should have gone with a lurch-esque "you rang?"Carrnage said:
There are still parts of the original plan in play, so I'm not going to spoil those, but the Wards definitely weren't part of the original plan. There was also a lot more Cenotaph-style (the fanfic, not Cape!Danny) combat before Endbringer shenanigans.1986ctcel said:Grom you said much earlier that our choices at the beginning of the quest completely derailed the plot you had in mind so if we've diverged enough that it wouldn't be spoilers, do you mind sharing the what-if?
I'm gonna say... Detroit. Because that makes sense..IronSun. said:
You guys had space for four in each of your Stunts. I added Gallant because there was another Stunt that had him in it, and is not counted as a penalty.BobTheNinja said:It will be pretty cool if Grom decided to add Gallant and the stunt succeeds. The more the merrier.
Threshold has always been 16 or half of the voting pool, whichever is lower.FunkyEntropy said:Huh? When did that change? That's a bit of a boost given that the threshold was previously 10.
As a Probationary Ward, Taylor receives $400 a month. Full Ward receives $800. On top of that, all wards receive $50,000 placed into a Trust Fund, and any extra income gained (such as money made through Tinkering or extra-curricular activities is funneled there. The Trust Fund cannot be touched until the Ward turns 18.FunkyEntropy said:If people are concerned about having spending money, Taylor already has Backing (PRT) 3 - She gets a monthly stipend of $500, which is equivalent at minimum to high end Resources 1 (or more likely Resources 2 because Taylor doesn't have to worry about paying for food or shelter), thanks to the fact that she's a Ward.
For our purposes, the Resources and Backing Backgrounds represent a steady stream of income, and paying XP for them give them Narrative Armor to avoid being cast aside casually. If you sell something for millions of dollars, then just let it sit under your mattress (so to speak) and don't pay XP for it, something will happen to it (maybe good, maybe bad) if it isn't used up quickly. Just as you can gain Allies and Contacts without XP, but they'll go away and do other things (or things will happen to them) if you don't pay XP for the Backgrounds to represent them.FunkyEntropy said:Tell me, would you tell the swordsman, "OK, you hit the bandit with your sword. Now pay XP if you want to roll damage." Because that's what you're saying here, "OK, you made the item. Now pay XP if you want to sell it and get the money for it."
My own personal opinion on the matter is that our Virtues should not be raised any further from here on out. I could see a possible case made for raising Temperance to 3, but this isn't the time to discuss it.landcollector said:
One month before you lose an Interval or the Specialty availability goes away. We are approaching losing a few on the sheet as of 5.1, so I will highlight in red any that are a week away from fading when it comes up.Zen said:How long does it take before Abilities that have been trained but not purchased are lost? And are they lost all at once, or do they go down by intervals?
No worries - I'm not the best at updating the "Voting In Progress" or "Writing In Progress" statuses on the Index page, so I could see that causing some confusion. In any case, welcome aboard!Lancealot said:Oh huh I've just been reading the story only part never bothered with the rest.
I loves it. I loooooves it. Kinda surprised that EOA didn't muse that SoPA really is her leftover Parahuman powers. Also that Firefly (or Zeph/Reya) didn't freak out more about just what EOA represents (since I doubt they ever saw Alchemicals), or that Taylor didn't mention Iris/Eye of Autochthon and blow their minds even more. But whatever, it's great! +1 XP!sun tzu said:
