    OH MY GOD     was this vote a horror to tally, since I completely overlooked the possibility that vote tally programs would flip out if there were plans within plans. As a result, I had to hand-count this entire vote - my notes are spoilered at the end here - so feel free to point out if I missed anything. I'll also note that this was an unusually split vote, and the usual rule of "16 votes or half total voters, whichever is greater" meant that most XP votes didn't make the cut.

    For reference, the winning armor mods are:
    - Enhanced Mobility Systems v3.21f (Faster Flight mod)
    - Distributed Computer System v5.54d (Interface with wireless/broadband communications and other armors with this mod)
    - Tactical Prediction Model Generator v.08b (Lie Detector, helps evasion)

    So... no controlling our armor through SoPA. Oh well!

    [5] - Stunt: "It's okay Saki, we miss Sakura too" Dean reassured Saki. Willow embraced Saki in a hug. "Strider will take us everywhere, Dean will look for her emotions, Taylor's bugs see everything, and if she's hurt I'll heal her." Dean put a hand on Saki's shoulder. Feeling crowded, Saki broke away, leaving the two Wards comedic entangled. "Thank you" she bowed.

    Except Gromweld has only made statements saying that we will get what we prepare for with reference to our armor. Not our allies, so the argument is inapplicable.
     
    That's the funny part about the armor argument. They weren't actually helping the case, because the only people likely to read a two page long argument are...the people who don't want it anyway, especially with the mass pings in the middle.

    Uju just made sure most people never really got to see his armor, only his arguments. :V

    I freely admit that having Lord Grasp as a hat made it a highly tempting plan.

    Actually, Chris is the Ward we spend the most time with in actual votes, more than Missy, though Aisha inserts herself regardless of our votes so she has more actual screentime.

    The reason? He's kind of almost as much a workaholic as Taylor, as the stunt says. It's sort of like Dragon and Colin really :V

    Dude, don't be a dick. They disagreed with you. That doesn't inherently make them less intelligent than you are, it just means they disagree with your ideas about the best course of action.

    See, now I'd be less upset if there was actual verbal disagreement. They didn't argue the point at all, they just bandwagoned. Since there was no actual stated reason for not grabbing the remote controlled powered armor I have no choice but to assume that there was no reason.

    Secondary mode: Allows operation of suit by SoPA at full Wits+War pool in the event of operator absence or unconsciousness. -2 to fine manipulation rolls and -2 DV if suit occupant is resisting.

    For some, the gruff nature of your disagreement might imply that you had no interest in even considering counter-arguments. I know for my part, I found people on both sides of the armor argument to be too acerbic for me to feel like I wanted to offer my own opinion.

    Also: arrogance aside, you totally have a choice besides making that assumption. There are plenty of reasons ranging from just being shy to finding you too abrasive for people not to want to get entrenched into disputation with you. If you dismiss them for not stating it, then that's your decision, not theirs.

    The fact that despite crafting the previous winning vote I walked away with maybe 10% of what I actually wanted should tell you all you need to know about my general willingness to listen and consider opposing points of view, and my ability to compromise.

    Works fine to me. Do you have the latest version? NetTally updates often to fix bugs and add features. The latest is 1.7.3.2
     
    So, something I only just noticed. Crushing Grasp's character sheet doesn't have Sakura on it's intimacy because he hasn't met her yet, right? I imagine that it will simply be a duplicate of Saki's when the time comes.

    That's entirely fair. The sense I'm getting on this is that you were hoping for more of an Iron Man: Extremis approach to the armor, where the counter-argument was more "GiTS: Earth-Bet would be awesome". As before, I might be off base with that guess. And if I am, I apologize for speaking in ignorance.
