Wanted to make this longer, but it's been sitting on my harddrive for days not going anywhere.
Might expand it a bit, say outtakes from earlier scenes, or write the meeting with Lisa.
We'll see
Can't wait for the update.
Omake -- Out of Character
Taylor was sitting in the common area when Victoria walked in carrying a drink and plopped herself into a chair.
"You look pretty good for someone who got disintegrated by Behemoth." Taylor teased.
Victoria gave her a mock glare, then stuck her tounge out.
"I'm just glad that it was pretty much an off screen death." Victoria replied. "Well, that means I've got some time off I can go spend with Dean."
"You guys back together?" Taylor asked. "I swear, with how much you two break up and get back, you'd think you'd have given up by now."
Victoria shrugged. "Hey, just means we've got passion."
Taylor rolled her eyes, and went back to the magazine she was looking through. Victoria glanced at it.
"Isn't that the one Emma's got a few photos in?" She asked.
Taylor nodded. "Yep. One of her biggest gigs. She was so excited."
Taylor's phone rang. "Speak of the devil." Taylor said, looking at the number. "Hey Emma, how's it going? ... That's cool. ... Cloths shopping tomorrow? Love to, but I'm between takes so I'm still in the Alchemical Exalted body for Alchemical Quest. ... Yeah, the one that's a perfect Ten. So any clothing I'd get would have to fit it, and be useless when I go back to my normal look. ... Yeah, wish I could keep the look for the other stories, but you know the rules. Who knows, maybe they'll let me keep it, just use it in my off time. ... Hey, should I get the rest of the girls, make a day of it? Victoria is kind of bored since she got killed already. ... Okay, and say hi to your parents for me. ... Yeah, and I'll do the same for Mom and Dad."
Taylor sighed as she hung up her phone. "Ever since everyone's been having me stuck in that damn locker, Emma's been going a bit overboard. As if I don't know it's just part of the role."
Victoria shrugged, taking another swig of her soda. "The joys of being an actress, even one with a small but imporant part."
Just then, a large figure in armor that looked to have been carved from diamonds walked in.
"Hi Marrow." Taylor waved to the figure. "Checking out the new body?"
The armor seemed to liquidify and be pulled back into Marrow's body.
"Yeah." Marrow smiled. "They wanted to make sure it would be ready for when I make my debut in it. Work out anything that needs fixed."
"Cool." Taylor said with a smile. "You know Victoria?" Taylor gestured at the other actress. The two shook hands.
"Yes, I've been a fan of your work for a while now." Marrow said.
Victoria smiled, and was about to say something, when they all turned to look at the doorway where a number of voices were coming from.
"Oh yeah. They were doing some preliminary work on Alchemical bodies for some of the others Mainly concept stuff." Marrow said. "Most of them are just for Omake work since they've only got four more slots I think."
Taylor nodded as Colin, Hannah, Missy, Dennis, Chris, Weld, Emily, and Chevalier came in, each one in a metallic body that while still obviously being 'them,' had looks that would put most Hollywood actors and actresses or top models to shame. Weld's looked more human than his usual metal form.
"The outfits look to be very well made." Aisha said demurely as she seemed to pop out of nowhere.
Missy seemed to almost jump out of her skin. Literally considering the body she was in was quite a bit larger than she was.
"Don't DO that!" Missy shrieked.
Aisha seemed to wilt at the yell. Missy sighed and rolled her eyes.
"It's okay, Aisha." Missy apologized. "You just startled me."
"I didn't mean too." Aisha whispered.
Taylor shook her head at how different Aisha was from her character. No one ever knew how much she was acting to be the sassy, foul mouthed girl. She suspected that was why she was given the stealth character of Imp, she really was that unnoticible most of the time.
"Well, I'm off." Taylor said with a laugh. "Got to go see Lisa and go over our lines for another story."
"Which one?" Dennis asked.
"It's an expansion of an earlier oneshot that had me as an Aberrant instead of a Parahuman." Taylor explained. "Or was it as well?" She muttered to herself. Taylor shrugged. "Anyway, it's based another one of White Wolf's super-character games, but instead of being some kind of kung-fu wizard, or a character from a horror movie, or a god, you become a mutant superhero... kind of."
Taylor waved as she left for her meeting with her friend.
