I'm expecting the queen to kill us now.
<insert Evil Laughter>
Nah I doubt it will actually pop up until much, much later where this Waifu will become relevant, say War of the Ancients where Shirou will get conflicting Loyalties and most likely end up fighting for both sides at one point or another

I say join the Queen. Less chances of being hanged by our innards.

you're assuming we have choice, We may get to play more than just shirou in the war of the ancients, imagine playing Xavius, or Illidan perhaps even Ashara herself, we may be able to make choices that effect Shirou and as a resukt may take away the choice of him choosing a side as we may have made events occur so that he can only join one, say we are controlling Dath'Remar and manipulate shirou into killing the Satyrs by saying that Xavuis isn't really Xavius and that he is just a creature wearing his form after twisting it.
There is the high chance that the bronze dragon flight will get involved to ensure that every thing in the War of the ancients occurs as it should, heck they may even take SHirou away and trigger the war with that as the catalyst and only return him after it ends

nice idea but there is going to be having to deal with Xavius and co. Just understanding the chance that Sargeras may take an interest in Shirou and the fire's of Angra Mainyu within him

I get the feeling that Shiro will bridge the gap between Night Elves and the Naga when we get to that point of the timeline.

If we or rather when we meet the Burning Legion. We should offer the Old Gods to the Burning Legion as an offering to not come back to Azeroth for 10 Thousand years.
If it succeeds we wont have the Death Wing problem in the future.

I'm liking your thinking

Rolling character stats
Okay, here is the time when we Roll Shirou's stats

Thanks to being best buds with Xavius, he is going to get +4 to intrigue, what it is Xavius and if you've played Legion you'd know how shady that guy is. His Martial will have a plus 2+ for being awesome with the bow and his Diplomacy will be at +1 for well growing up so far in the court of Azshara. Rolling Two D20s to see the stats, adding them together unless they are over 25, in that case they will be a flat 25 with the bonus if any added on to it. CKII system

Character Stats and description
Okay so that is

Stewardship (No idea why it came up as 2) = 10, well Shirou sucks at keeping things tidy and handling money fellas
Martial is 17+2=19
Diplomacy is 20+1=21
Intrigue 25+3=28
Learning =16

Here is a description for that

While at court Shirou had no real talent for handling currency nor was he good at any type of managing task, he was not meant to manage a building an office or groups of people. Xavius caught on to this quickly and also caught on to the boy was an average learner of things, well average by his standards at least. But that did work to his advantage for Shirou was mostly silent unless spoken to and at times could appear not be present at all. Xavius exploited this part of the bow and trained the boy in it, by have Shirou sabotage his political enemies. The fact that he was able to pull it off so well and so discreetly, no one knew where to look, not at the boy or ever at Xavius. It was just as if the fire that by some means burned down a house and several of its residents started due to a failed spell within the house itself. Xavius and Shirou both knew that was true, they also both knew that the spell was intended to fail and to burn down the house.

Over the short years he had with the boy, Xavius taught him to at least act like he had the same emotions as others and felt the way they did. He was not overly talented at this, but he was above average. So much so that his smile could put others at ease and off guard if he wished it, not to mention it along with his voice was able to charm a few court members of the fairer sex. All in all, if Shirou was not up to some mischief that Xavius had told him to do, he was out doing the dirty work of Xavius's political campaign. Not that Shirou could tell the difference, to him both were the mischief that he was sent on.

Back at the story

After about thirty minutes of silence, it is Maiev who breaks it and asks you "Is it my paranoia or do you give of a sinister aura all the time?"

You blink then look at her and ask "What?"

Maiev narrows her eyes as she turns around and says "Your body, your gaze, it feels as if I am walking behind a fire that has the intent to burn me to death slowly, that and if I take my eyes off you for any longer, you'd vanish on me."

Now this you have not heard before and truthfully tell her "I have no such intention to do so, if I killed you here and now, I would be lost in the wilds and I am yet to learn how to safely teleport."

Maiev now raises an eyebrow at you as she asks "Is that so?"

You give a slow nod and say to her "It is so" now as you flash her your smile, you see that she is more on guard than at ease.

She looks a little flustered the shakes it off, like literally and then says to you "Enough of this, we must press on."

You're not sure what this is, but you choose to shrug and say "Sure why not."

It is now that you notice something is off.

You fail to notice what is off and just keep walking with Maiev, but she now calls you to halt and says "We are being followed."

She gives you a slow nod and says in a very low voice without turning to face you "Act as if you normally would, then either you break from me and go off the path or I from you."

"Then if you or I do that, we must take care not to be seen and travel close enough to the other to know that we are alright but far enough that we are not see together."

[] Let Maiev break from you and go off the path, you have no idea who or what is following you, but it is better to stay on the path then go off it. (Martial)

[] You rather like the idea of being the sneaky guy, so you will be the one to break from the path. (Intrigue)

I just mean if you switched intrigue with stewardship and Diplomacy with learning it's coming close to what I'd expect from canon Shirou.

No not really, the anti Shirou would be the guy who wants to destroy the world so he can smile like Kiritsugu did.

[X] You rather like the idea of being the sneaky guy, so you will be the one to break from the path. (Intrigue)

We're talking about the guy who does Xavius's dirty work here, though Maiev may be the better option I stand by my choice
