[X] Plan Ultimate
-[X] Sentinels in front. Push forward.
-[X] Instigators provide fire support. When in range of Infested Sacks, blink to them and destroy them. Blink back into battle line afterwards.
-[X] Purifier Adepts behind Sentinels. Provide fire support.
-[X] Energizers chrono-beam ranged attackers, stay behind allied lines.
-[X] Disruptors at front at first. Launch attack, deal damage and fall back behind Sentinels. Launch Purification Novas when ready, with care not to hit allied units.
-[X] Wardens at the back. Fire lasers, use warden support omega to heal damaged sentinels.

Oh neat. I have figured out when we are. We are right before the forerunners fire the halo away to purge the galaxy of the flood. Cause the flood in the original trilogy was pretty was in pretty much one place with the exceptions of any that the forerunners had locked up. I really hope our AI design isn't based of of the neural and brain patterns of protoss and just their memories. Other wise the array firing will kill us along with the flood and all other life in the galaxy.

With a heroic battle-cry from the Purifiers, and a horrendous screech from the Abominations, metal and flesh clashed.
The Sentinels blades made easy work of the weak flesh of the Abominations, slicing them into pieces and then slicing those pieces into smaller pieces! Even when one Sentinel fell, its place was quickly taken by another while the resurrection protocol kicked in-- revitalizing the fallen warriors within an instant!
The Instigators made short work of the Abominations as well. The particle disruptors fired with pin-point accuracy. Not even the Parasites were unharmed by the brutal weaponry of the Instigators. The Particle Disruptors were very effective against the infested sacks, literally frying them to a crisp with only one pair of shots from a single Instigator.
The Glaive Cannons of the Adepts effectively cleared out several of the Infested and Abominations easily, their flesh too weak to handle such a purifying weapon! The Adepts were relatively unharmed, as the Parasites instantly fell to their shields.
The Disruptors cleared out hundreds of Infested and Abominations alike. Their flesh is light-- lighter than that of a Zergling! This proved to be their downfall, as the rotten muscle were quickly vaporized in a shower of orange light.
Repair Drones flocked to restore the Purifiers that actually got wounded in such a one-sided engagement. This was sparse, as the Wardens own support fire easily kept many Purifiers from falling to the Abominations. As you watched from the bridge of the Purifying Gaze, you smiled. These... Abominations, though they were like a flood in their numbers, were completely ineffective against your warriors. You had suffered no true casualties, as the Sentinels themselves rose from their supposed defeat in glory.
Imuron reports that these Abominations, aptly named the Flood due to their numbers, would be far more effective against the likes of Organics. Their strange claws are designed to rip flesh, not metal alloys. Their flesh is meant to withstand ballistic bullets and physical attacks from punches, not particle disruptors and psi-blades. Their parasites-- clearly meant to convert creatures into their Infested, could only do small damage to warriors such as the Sentinel.
Within an entire standard-Terran Day, the entirety of the fleet was restored. Now onto more pressing matters...
Like the giant space structure that you managed to completely miss!
The on-board scanners from Observers detect typical terrain found on Terrestrial Words present on the 'arms' of this giant construct. Imuron says that this is the 'Ark' that what appeared to be the Flood 'leader' spoke about. Interesting. There is also fleets present within the gravity of the Ark. Two of different 'races' are detected, given that there are two very different designs within the fleets present. One is clearly more advanced than the other.
In other words, your Observers scout around the rest of the solar system. There is one Garden Planet, complete with an entire ecosystem. There are two barren worlds and two gas giants, along with a single Desert Planet. Only the Garden Planet hit the top of the scales when it came to richness of the planet, with Barren-Planet A and the Desert Planet coming in second with an average amount of richness.
Year 0
Month 1
[X] What do you wish to name this discovered Solar System, and its planets?
Solar System X-221A
(M)Garden World: Ultrarich, Normal Gravity
(M)Desert World: Average, Normal Gravity
(S) Barren World: Average, Low Gravity
(M) Barren World: Poor, High Gravity
(L) Gas Giant B: Poor
(L) Gas Giant A: Poor
Available Resources:
5,000 Materials Materials can be used to speed up the progress of structures you want to build on the planet. They can also be used to produce warriors/starships/vehicles.
Production Facility (Vehicle, Starship, Infantry) Has to be placed in an Outpost/Fortress. Outposts can hold a maximum of 1 Production Facility, while a Fortress can use hold 3. 2 Months. 300M.
Mining Facility (Materials) Small planets can have 4 Mining Facilities. Medium Planets can have 6 Mining Facilities. And Large can have up to 10 Mining Facilities. 1 Month. 100M.
Purifier Outpost (Fortifies Control over the planet. Can add defenses to it.) Same numbers with the Mining Facilities when it comes to planet sizes. Purifier Fortress' count. 4 Months. 450M.
Purifier Fortress (One Outpost can be converted into a Fortress. Greater defense.) 4 Months. 500M.
Purifier Research Station (Will produce Research Points, which will allow you to modify/upgrade existing or new units.) 4 Months, 200M
Warp Beacon (Allows units to Warp in/out the Planet.) 6 Months, 750M
And you can ask for the possibility for the construction of infrastructure you wish to be created that will be useful. You should ask me first, so that I can give proper bonuses/effects such a building would entail.
You can also specify how much time will pass for the next turn to begin. This can go up to 4 years with no interruptions, and soldiers will automatically be produced and planets will advance from outposts to colonies.
Ultra-Poor: 50M Per Mine.
Poor: 100M Per Mine.
Average: 350M Per Mine.
Rich: 500M Per Mine.
Ultra-Rich: 725M Per Mine.
so did the human and covenant fleets leave? is the ark still intact? How damaged is it? is the turn length one month? can mines be put on the gas giants?
[X] Plan DS
-[X] Plan is for month 1
-[X] 6xPurifier Outpost = 2,700 material
--[X] one per planet
-[X] 16xMining Facility = 1,600 material
--[X] 6 on ultra-rich garden
--[X] 6 on desert
--[X] 4 on barren
-[X] 3xResearch Station = 600 material
--[X] One on the Ark, one on the garden planet, one on the desert planet
material used = 4,900 out of 5,000
Overall goal is to start the building blocks of our economy. We need to start the outposts now so we can get some production up ASAP and placing the most profitable mines so we can finish up the rest of the mines next turn.
with this, we should generate 4500+3500 Material. We can build the rest of our mines (assuming they can go on the gas giants) and some other stuff (more outposts mainly).
