A Magistrate on Halo rings (Starcraft and Halo crossover)

I think its going to be bloody hilarious... I might just make it so that she liked Jim and that was why she made him marshall originally and she left because Jim didn't like her back lol :p too fixated on kerrigan :lol

It's almost scary how similar that motivation is to my version of her. Less... romance subplot-ish, though... :lol

Kind of both practical and as a guy can't really think in terms of a females mind...

Practical because oni are assholes and the covenant aren't much better...not to mention other threats out there.

A balanced force beats a specialized one most of the time unless either outside circumstances or enviromental circumstances.

Same name... So many differences. That's it. If I run a StarCraft Quest, I'm still using my original Nat.

I'll be very interested to see how this one turns out, though. ;)

[X] capital ships: 2 extra battlecruisers with a balanced mix of all the other army types.
[X] Mobile defense: Lots of medium damage medium mobility units. Good at defending several different attacks one after the other. Moderate at precision strikes and hitting weak spots. Terrible at static defense. Weak at storming an enemy position.

I like big space boats, and battlecruisers make for an impressive force multiplier on their own with their bombardment. Plus if we're going by Canon rather than ingame mechanics they should be able to pick up and drop off troops, making the moderate mobility doctrine that much more effective since they can act as mobile deployment hotspots for both offensive and defensive action.

No one even touched it, I'm starting to wonder if people didn't even notice...
 
ehh if sans will let me tell of the few ideas we talked about this quest then I will share them for now...

but the main thing is I want the economy up and running when we hit planet fall...because we need to build up hard and fast to survive the covenant...

also Sans: can we research energy shields for our forces when we take them from the covenant?

Also do we have the special upgrades from StarCraft 2 terran campaign? or do we have to research them ourselves?

also in the halo lore there are other colonies not affiliated with the UNSC, but their basically fodder for any passing covenant ship or pirate ship.

so I'm guessing were going to have one of those and figure out where we are...and then shit ourselves from space-anomaly bullshit and build up like terrans do.

if you mean individual energy shields sure, just don't expect too much, but you already have ship based energy shields.

you have some of the upgrades, but not all of them. You have all the infantry and most of the building armory upgrades for example, as well as some of the vehicle upgrades like the maelstrom rounds on the tanks and the prometheus flame upgrade for the hellions as well as both viking upgrades... but you lack all the other upgrades, though you can research several of them eventually. Oh you also have both of the research trees for the protoss and zerg, I will tell you which ones were chosen once I add your forces.

alright...here's to hoping we don't have to waste SCV's or workers on getting the teleporting function from the protoss tech, not to mention the Reactor/tech lab combo upgrade...those two are the most useful out of all the protoss in my opinion...for the zerg Neo-steel was the best as it added regen for your mechanized forces, while infantry can be healed by medics.

Hey, count our blessings. If I understand correctly, we have the armor shields and the automatic turrets, so that means we won't have to worry quite as much about troop durability or bunker staffing. And Vikings are absurdly useful in a situation like this. Transforming mecha change combat doctrine significantly, especially when not constrained by game mechanics.

Huh. Actually didn't see the Magistrate being the version I originally suggested.

ok.. I have now added the mechanics section and laid out how space warfare is going to work in this quest. I have also added the stats for your regular battlecruisers (not the flagship.)
