[X] Take it Slow Bro - Send out Slowbro. If Koga is willing to sacrifice Weezing & Ariados to Slowbro to set up hazards that can be taken off the field by Forretress' Rapid-Spin that is a trade he is more than welcome to make.
Violet instinctively reached towards the Pokeballs on her belt, avoiding Magnezone and Slowbro due to their lesser speed before freezing. She'd taught Forretress Rapid Spin for a reason.
Avoiding the immediate desire to prevent a set of Toxic Spikes, Violet's hand reached for her newest Pokemon, gently throwing the Pokeball underhanded. On the other side of the arena, Koga felt a moment of surprise before his eyes sharpened. He immediately realized that Violet had calculated the possibility of hazards and discarded them for some reason or the other. Whether that was due to items or moves had yet to be determined, but until then he would take advantage.
"Toxic Spikes," he ordered. Only to frown as Weezing attempted the lay down the hazardous trap, only for the move to fizzle out.
"Psychic," Violet said, directing her voice at Slowbro. The Pokemon's eyes glowed brightly as a wave of pure psychic energy rippled across the field, striking Weezing, and causing them to faint.
Recalling his Pokemon with a small nod of respect, Koga spoke up, intentionally using the few words he said to think. "A good response, although I suspect you didn't foresee Toxic Spikes failing. I don't believe you're a psychic, right?"
Violet shook her head, using the time to think for herself. Next up would be another Pokemon to lay out hazards, but would it be another Weezing? Or would it be a bug type that'd lay out a Sticky Web?
"Ariados, you're up!" Koga shouted, the Long Leg Pokemon skittering onto the battlefield. "Sticky Web!"
A tangle of sticky threads shot out, covering the battlefield in layers of silk. Slowbro, already not the fastest Pokemon, visibly struggled to even move, his legs dragged down by the move causing him to slow to a crawl.
Violet, however, wasn't deterred. "Don't worry about it, Psychic again."
Slowbro's eyes glowed, as another wave of psychic energy was launched. Slamming into Ariados, the Bug and Poison-type Pokemon reeled from the attack. Letting out a chittering cry, the Pokemon collapsed to the ground to Violet's surprise. A moment later a slight blush came to her face, she'd forgotten Poison types were weak to Psychic-type moves.
As Koga returned Ariados and sent out his Crobat, Violet let out a relieved sigh as she realized that this battle was all but won.
As long as Slowbro remains out, Koga will use Crobat's superior speed and maneuverability to conduct a wide range of aerial attacks, primarily Air Cutter.
If Magnezone is switched in, Koga will immediately use Air Cutter and then send out his Muk.
If any other Pokemon is sent out, Koga will keep in Crobat and use Air Cutter as the primary attacking method.
[] Stick with Slowbro - Slowbro already beat two Pokemon, while Crobat is difficult for him, perhaps he can eke out a win.
[] Stick with Slowbro, but against Muk - Switching to Magnezone then back to Slowbro would mean he'd take a single U-Turn before facing Muk. This would allow him to grow quite a bit.
[] Get Gengar in - Sending out Gengar would allow him to get valuable experience. While he's had a few fights, he also lacks experience.
[] Clear the Board - Sending out Forretress to clear the hazards isn't that beneficial, but it'd reset the board which would be to your advantage.

Mean Look into Curse then? Considering Curse is undodgeable, and Crobat is a dodge tank he's hard countered by it so he just needs to be forced to endure it by Mean Look to secure the win.

That's the plan I can confirm. It's a good way to hard counter Crobat as you surmised, and Gengar does have decent chances to outlast Crobat in a full battle.
Gengar also gives Koga an explanation as to why Violet felt that the potential toxic spikes entry hazards were acceptable dangers (even though that wasn't really our plan at all).
Alright, as it is Gengar does start off far stronger than I expected, dodging both of Crobat's Air Cutters as he sets up Mean Look and Curse. The rest admittedly doesn't go as well as he gets knocked out shortly thereafter, but he does leave things so that Forretress can easily last long enough to win.
After which I'll just have the rest of the battle go a bit faster. As while it's a 4 vs 3, you do have a larger advantage considering two of Koga's remaining Pokemon are Weezing.
Also, due to some IRL stuff, the next update will be out Monday rather than tonight.

Violet was quick to let Gengar know the strategy the moment she sent him in. "Mean Look then Curse," she ordered. "Then focus on dodging."
Gengar gave her an almost imperceptible nod before he began complaining about the Sticky Web that his legs stuck to. He would have preferred some warning over that.
The moment the battle resumed, Gengar dove sideways as Crobat launched a near-instant Air Cutter. Violet herself was caught off guard by the sheer speed on display, she'd never even seen Willow's Pokemon move that quickly. Despite the limited time available to him, Gengar managed to predict the upcoming move based on how he would have acted.
Looking at Crobat, Gengar smiled while his eyes flashed a menacing color. A second, larger set was visible to Crobat for a moment, causing the Pokemon to be drawn into another Air Cutter prematurely allowing the Shadow Pokemon to avoid the second blow. Steadying his feet, Gengar then used Curse, visibly stumbling from how much energy the move required from him.
In that moment of weakness, however, Crobat pounced as a third Air Cutter was launched. This time, however, Gengar wasn't able to dodge and was savaged by the blow. Even as he launched a futile Shadow Ball to force Crobat backward, the Bat Pokemon followed it up with yet another Air Cutter that caused Gengar to faint.
Violet returned the unconscious Gengar to his Pokeball and sent in Forretress with a simple instruction. "Stall." While Blissey would be better for the task of stalling, Violet was slightly distracted and so went with the Pokemon more famed for their defensibility. She hadn't expected Gengar to faint so quickly despite having ample evidence to the contrary. Crobat was simply too nimble to be hit while Gengar wasn't tough enough to survive the Bat Pokemon's counterblows.
Even as Forretress stalled out Crobat through a series of Protects, Violet continued to think while Curse drained the Bat Pokemon's energy until they fainted. It was now a 4 vs 3, and while Violet was very confident in her chance of success, perhaps a change of tactics was in order.
[] Training First - Keeping in Forretress against Koga's next Weezing is objectively a mistake due to their moveset. However, it would provide the most amount of experience. Continuing on from there is only natural.
[] A Midpoint - Switching to Magnezone would be slightly suboptimal due to Weezing knowing Heat Wave. But it'd allow for them to get some more practice in battles.
[] Send the Soft Counter - Slowbro would make for an excellent counter to Weezing and provide some more practice. While Koga would almost certainly switch to his other Weezing who is more focused on the use of Toxic, which can be handled by switching to Magnezone or Forretress as needed.
[] Full Send - Sending in Dragonite would force Koga to either use Explosion or switch to his poison-focused Weezing. Both of which you could counter outright via Protect or switching Pokemon yourself.

Well, Gengar did the job we caught him for well at least. Namely, going down taking the most dangerous member of the enemy team with him so good on him for that.
Otherwise, I'm surprised that Violet didn't consider sending out Slowbro as the optimal move over Blissey since it's all the same stall power, and it wouldn't have taken up a Pokemon slot in the fight. Regardless, I'm betting that Slowbro won't need to be swapped out of the one versus one with the Toxic Weezing considering its weakness to Psychic-type moves meaning it should go down before Slowbro would faint to Toxic.
At that point just cycling through Magnezone and Slowbro would be a winning strategy considering Magnezone's resistance to Explosion letting it live the hit well Slowbro's Regenerator should allow him to do the same and how both of them should have winning match-ups into the remainder of Koga's team. We might want to give Forretress a spin instead though against the Explosion Weezing just for training purposes, and then drop Dragonite on what ever Koga's final Pokemon is for similar reasons.

welp. I guess Gengar needed a lot more time to cook.
