You are the Dark One. It's Season X in Once Upon A Time. It's been around 30 years or so since The Evil Queen cast the Dark Curse. Rumplestiltskin is curious and inquisitive. There can only be one Dark One, and yet, here you are. You were not touched by the Grail, or the Darkness the way that Rumplestiltskin was, yet you are the Dark One as well. Your origins are unknown even to you. You only know that you're bad news, you're strong, and you're hella tough, but you struggle to remember who, or what you are. Remember this is Storybrooke, you can't leave town limits, however you realize that you have a different affliction than everyone else. You finally remember who you are, and you know everything about magic being real and the town being fairy tale characters. What you don't know is, how did you get here? Why are you here? How long were you . . . unconscious? Why do you remember so much? You probably should find out soon because Mister Gold already knows that you know. So does Regina.

Developments:
Turn O: Bowser is the Richest Jerk In the City.
Turn 1: Appearance Decided. Discovered Maleficent.
Turn 2: Alliance With Mister Gold, Got Our Sword.
Turn 3: Opened the Casino, began construction on our Mega Castle.

Town Status And Setting Information

    Storybrooke, Maine
    A large town of several thousand inhabitants, but not quite a city. It was the Kingdom of many fairy tales and legends. Thirty years ago, a mysterious curse swallowed the Enchanted Forest. The Curse of the Evil Queen, simply called, The Dark Curse. These people, fairy tale legends lost their powers or simply forgot who they were, now living as ordinary Human beings in Storybrooke, in modern day America. There is only one person in Storybrooke who still possesses magical powers, and only two people who remember who they are.

    Regina, the Evil Queen, now Mayor of Storybrooke, and Mister Gold, the Pawnshop owner. Soon, the Dark Curse is about to be broken, but before that happens, something strange has just happened. You are the Dark One. Well, A Dark One. In the history of Dark Ones, you are the only second Dark One that the Darkness has ever possessed. The original Dark One is none other than Mister Gold himself.

    You have discovered a vast cache of gold in an underground vault beneath your two story home. Not quite a mansion, in fact even before you found this fortune you were well off. Now, however, you know that this fortune is yours. Most people in Storybrooke languish in mediocrity. You have always been an oddball out of the whole bunch, but life wasn't a bed of roses for you. You have eight squabbling, asshole little kids who, because of the Curse, never grew up.

    But you. . . you've discovered the greatest fortune in the history of Storybrooke, and Regina has the power to take it from you.

    Turn 4:
    There is now a Mega castle built by the entirely population of koopas and former koopas at work. (And Goombas, let's not be discriminatory). It's the largest ever built, by far greater than any defensive fortification ever built on Earth, except for the Great Wall, and well, it's a Wall, not a Castle, so it's kind of different.

    The town also has a huge casino built taking up the entirety of a 30 acre plot of land, and is currently constructing it's third floor. The building was primarily a casino, but it's turning into a Hotel as well. Cora Mills, Regina's mother, and Queen of Hearts is currently visiting Storybrooke, and actually has the power to threaten us.

    Light Yagami might be too powerful. The Death Note might even exist in this universe, but for a PC character to have it might be way too empowering.

    Yeah but you don't know where they are. They could be in the Vault, Mister Gold's Pawnshop or who knows, maybe they're hidden somewhere else?

    Will we be able to travel to the enchanted forest and middle earth in this quest? Or are we limited to just Storybrook.

    Selecting Bowser since his characterization tends to be more consistent than Ganon's. As for his Storybrooke name and financial status... for some reason I imagine him as a moderately well-off guy who owns an auto shop or something. Likes cool cars, flame decals, has spikes in his hair, etc.
     
    I shall be frank, I am a simple man. I see bowser as an option, I vote for him. Even if my knowledge of once upon a time is limited. I have seen people watch it so got some bits here and there but for the most part I am going in blind. Which is unneacesary info but bleh, I do this often.

    Wel, this makes sense. Why, you ask? Mario kart, so ofcourse he is into cars, might even be into sports. That and his general appearance can suggest biker.

    Granted, most of Bowsers personality comes from the RPGs, which I love. We even know a bit about his fighting style because he has been playable on a few occations (like bowsers inside story). Not only that, this gives us a reason to use M&L OST.

    Just for the chance to play as one of the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse.... Plus I could totallty seeing Death run a fast food place, Storybrooke needs another restaurant besides Granny's.

    Those aren't really mecha, Although Bowser jr. does have, as shown in Mario + Rabbits.

    No they are attack vehicles like He has himself but Unlike him the kids can't punch everything to death, So they get clown cart jr. to protect themselves. Although you can clearly see how is the favorite, as Bowser biological Son has the only costum cart while the rest are mass produced.

    Bowser is a caring if over protective single dad. I mean they used Bowser in parental control video Because Bowser is the best parent nintendo has. (Suck it Rosalina.)

    (Edit: Also there not really a gang, its just Jr. and his adoptive siblings beating ass. Their father is proud.)

    I like the idea of playing a single dad, who comes on way too strong in their relationships as they try to find a mother for their kid Jr, but comes across as controlling, driving them back to their sexy Italian plumber boyfriends.

    Lets not forget he is not a single dad to one son, he is a single dad to one biological son and seven adoptive kids. Man has his hands full and tries his best to be a good dad. However, as mario+rabbits shows, he is a bit of a controlling father, he tries his best to care for his son but is very strict. Doesn't stop him from kind of spoiling jr. with the tech the kid has.
