also that helps alot if i remember right the Hierarchy has low wealth in cannon, if the same is true here, this should hit them pretty hard.

that would be nice but only so long as you can manage it (i have seen some writers reach a bit too far and either have so much trouble finishing a difficult chapter because they felt obligated to do something they promised and not only does the chapter come out feeling forced and terrible but also very late)
i would rather you only add them when you feel the inspiration to do so in light of that. (aka don't feel like it is an obligation if you start doing it and then at one chapter or another feel like you need to force one out when you don't feel any inspiration)

    • The Turian woman held her jaw as the deep rumbling sound the Lekgolo called music shook her body and vibrated her bones in a deeply unpleasant way. Supposedly it was a song of melancholy and and remorse but it felt like the sound of titans scratching glass.

    Lutaia shook her head she understood that the Grand Gestalt was sick, but from what she understood they could have lived another three decades, a short period for a race that measure life in centuries but time none the less, why they would kill themselves like they did. Make no mistake jumping into gladiatorial combat until you die was suicide, in the end it was her duty as the Watcher to stand here and watch the funeral of the nominal leader of the Confederacy.

    Hours later she was once again watching the chamber as the aliens moved in and spoke. "High Conglomerate we must speak about the events in our fair Confederacy."

    The front is something that can not be ignored, the Hierarchy is pushing deep into Alliance Space and more worlds fall each year, it looks like it will be a slow grind to halt the advance.

    as much as i would love to focus on the front, with expansion locked and with our lack of cruisers we might want to research some improvements to our overall military power.
     
    Research is needed, atleast to see what we get because of Weird and Flashy.

    do we even USE vehicles? i mean our hunters are basically walking tanks.... to put it in 40k terms we have an army of dreadnoughts..... sooo ya i don't see any need for any vehicles in our arsenal... unless they are air/space superiority fighters those may be needed.
     
    ya then some kind of Scarab equivalent would be nice for sure, maybe something more akin to a 40k baneblade though, Scarabs may be elegant but they are VERY inefficient... OR alternatively we could be super weird and give ourselves a mechanical combat based equivalent of the zerg nydus worm. like make something capable of burrowing, worm shaped, and gigantic while bristling with weapons and a gaping maw with a super powered beam cannon inside ;)
     
    so we agree on research, so what else should we get. War some more or focus on building up our wealth our something so we can research even harder?
