What Makes A Good Man [Young Justice Quest]

So what sort of Vehicle should we end up going for? Should we make something more traditional like a car, motorcycle, or helicopter, something like a robot animal mount, or something along the lines of a mech?

We could go the Megaman route and get a robot dog that turns into a hoverboard. Two birds, one stone.

If it's a Motorcycle I want it to be able to transform into a hover bike, if it's a Car I just want it to be Kitt but with a female voice and personality.

Week 2
For the first time in your life, you felt completely happy. Back in Gotham, you were limited by your circumstances. Afterall, you didn't have enough money to buy electronics to tinker with and the constant threat of recruitment made it impossible for you to stand out. You felt confined, restricted and unable to fully express yourself. You felt like a background character, but now you're so much more.

It's all thanks to Luthor.

You wouldn't know where you would be if he hadn't helped you and it doesn't matter. You're here now and that's all that matters. You felt grateful to him and your willing to pay him back for his kindness.

So when he sent you a list of assignments he wants you to complete, you barely gave it a thought. You were using his lab and resources, so he deserved something back, right?

What do you do this week? You have 7 actions per week.
[] Mission: You're supposed to tag along with an 'independent contractor' and learn from him. (Takes 2 Actions/ Time Left: 2 weeks)
[] Mission: Luthor wants you to represent him during an inspection of one of his facilities. (Takes 2 Actions/ Time Left: 4 Weeks)
[] Mission: You have to pose as a reporter in order to get in a rival company's laboratory and steal a specific item, but you haven't been told what. (Takes 2 Actions/Time Left: 4 weeks)
[] Train Something (Specify what you want to train, can be taken multiple times)
[] Explore (Random Encounter, Locked to Metropolis)
[] Research Something (Choose from list below)
[] Build Something (Choose from list below)
[] Spend Time with... (Luthor, Mercy)

Concussive Grenades x10: Non-lethal grenades that release enough concussive force to break bones (+10 to Thrown Weapons)

High-Tech Goggles: Goggles with aim assistance (+5 to all ranged rolls)

Nanomachines: Microscopic machines injected into the bloodstream to augment the body (+2 to Strength, Agility, Stamina, Dexterity, Gain minor healing factor)

Minature Computer: A cell phone with the same capacity of a high-end computer (+10 to hacking rolls)

Shock Gloves: Gauntlets that release electrical shocks to enemies when punched (+10 to Unarmed)

Nanomachines-[REDACTED]: All Nanomachines research are locked until nanomachines are built.

Jammer: Makes you invisible to cameras and other surveillance systems (Automatic success when sneaking past cameras)

Basic Undersuit: When worn it gives minor boosts to all physical abilities (+1 to Strength, Agility, Dexterity)

So, we need a plan, I suggest that we get out the missions that are for two weeks to finish them off, and for a week, work on skills and SL's , and on the third week do the other missions. This way we have more time to finish everything, and get some training. Also we really need to make the nanomachines, that way we won't we as squishy.

Get us a bunch of tech to help us out, next turn we work on Mission

Just to warn you guys, the DC for building the Nanomachines will be high so it might take multiple turns to finish them. Each failure lowers the DC by 5 for the next attempt.

How would that work mechanically? 2d20+2*Skill? Or does it only get us the extra dice, doesn't let us double dip on our skill?
2d20+2*Skill.

Also, can you tell us how big the DC is? Or a rough estimate, like is it over 100?
More than 100. Likely 120

I might just have it so your result would be subtracted from the initial DC and the difference would be the new DC for the next attempt. That way you don't spend multiple turns building one thing. Thoughts?

That would work, I mean if we didn't finish it in a week, all the progress wouldn't just magically disappear.

@CorruptJester Shouldn't we be getting some Tool/Material Bonuses, thanks to all the stuff Lex Luthor is giving us? I mean, it seems like it should be some rather darn good stuff, he gots ton of money after all. The basic roll seems like what we should be able to do on an average budget, not the super budget Luthor has for us.

Right now Luthor only letting you access the standard material he has. You're still new and Luthor isn't sure he has your 100% loyalty and doesn't want to take an unnecessary risk.

Meta-Reason: It's a reward for reaching a high enough SL with him.

Thing is, with his power of Super Money, "standard material" seems like it'd be rather good. We aren't getting Super Tech, but top of the line normal tech seems like what we'd be getting. Can't do anything too awesome, but it's better than what we could probably afford on our own.
Agreed, but we don't really have any social skills at the moment. Might want to focus on being good at our job before trying to be friends with the boss or the other hired help.
Plus, Luthor probably appreciates competence more than brown nosing.

All right then, @Trondason i would vote for your plan, but could of add a bit of training for social things. Because it may save our bacon, and get us better with the boss, and even less disposable.

We should probably focus on preparing for our upcoming missions. We could train Awareness, Insight, and Perception for the Inspection mission while we could train in Deception and Investigation as well as build the Jammer and Mini-Computer for the Infiltration mission.
