Lekgolo Effect

The Chamber of the High Conglomeration.


The Conglomeration was in session, the Grand Gestalt watched from their seat the second highest in the chamber, with only that of the watcher being higher. The watcher was me the old one have succumbed to a disease and was made inoperable, the new one a Turian aristocrat named Fava seemed amenable and didn't flinch when a gestalt spoke to her. The Conglomeration had a very simple goal run the hundred or so nation states that made up the Confederacy, each nation would have one seat, and could put a single gestalt forward as a speaker. Their job was to vote and direct the Confederacy to the correct path.

The room was a station around Te the blue giant reflecting light through the top domed glass and onto the many Lekgolo in the chamber. Some came as pairs of warrior gestalts, some as the more massive gestalts that could be formed towering over the other ones near by, a few even stood as representatives of massive ship mind gestalts that lay in orbit of Te, though legation should soon make it so their would be a dive limits the ship minds would try to hold power before they were relegated elsewhere by their nation states. A few stood on the lowest ring below the mass of speakers, themselves, and the watcher, it was the advisors: prominent researchers, military generals, ship mind admirals, traders of repute, and anyone who the conglomerate believed could aid its decision making, or in some cases could be bought on by nations trying to consolidate power and push their agenda.

The duel warrior forms of the Grand Gestalt stood causing the deep din of hundreds of gestalts speaking and arguing. "We gather here to speak and guide all nations of the Lekgolo, I Grand Gestalt of the High Conglomerate call this Session of the Conglomeration to begin. As mediator I choose Fleet Admiral Dirk Shinath to speak of the war."

"I speak on behalf of Dirk, the war is not going well, ships die everyday and even with our aid the Alliance is being pushed back, while we have made a few victories the weakened state of the Alliance and power of the hierarchy means we will lose unless we focus more on the war effort."

"If we focus everything on the war effort we are weak to internal problems, to many young colonies clammer to join the Conglomeration before they become independent from their founding states."

"Not to mention the dire need to expand our shipyards are in need of retrofitting and replacement. If we only focus on the war what will become of the Confederacy."

"If we ignore the war their will be no confederacy to collapse!" The chamber fell back into argumentation and the Grand Gestalt had to stand once more. This was the way of the worlds.
