Well depending on the Way you want to take it, It can fall under the "Innocent scientific" category, The next is "I've Seen enough hentai to see where this is going", Maybe a Third which is "Burn it with fire"

    Grand just means Great, Together it just means the Great Collection,
    As well as Federation is once again an iffy subject of opinion, beyond that I would say Confederacy Makes more sense since that is what we Are, We are a Confederate Federation, Confederacy is the Grand Governmental Body while the Federation is the Type of Confederacy we have.

    And As No one tries to Assume Direct Control I'm fine with these choices

    I was going to vote for a respectable plan until I saw someone had the audacity to make a plan incorporating Canada. Then, I succumbed to the memetic glory of Legolo weirdness( it's a species trait don't you know).

    I think that is more because the Krogan are the only species that can live, even outlive, an Asari.
    Less heartache when you know your wife/husband won't die in less than a tenth of your lifetime.
