Really, out of all the things I wrote, that's what you pick up on? Can't blame you though.Well, we know what to do now.
Nibbles will be ours, even in its unlife!

I could point out the invisitext, but that might dissuade people from trying to Frankestein Nibbles together again.Really, out of all the things I wrote, that's what you pick up on? Can't blame you though.
I suppose... it's always important to convince people.I could point out the invisitext, but that might dissuade people from trying to Frankestein Nibbles together again.
You're quite welcomeYou're also mute, which'll make things even more fun.
I... haven't planned for this, shit.
Basically speaking you can learn other races magic, its just that learning it will come with more difficulty to you then it normally would. You could also learn necromancy which, for an arcane art of raising the dead themselves from their eternal slumber, is a surprisingly easy magic to learn.
What I've basically got planned for learning spells is that it is a mixture of your magic stat and dice rolls, with modifiers depending on your race and stuff like that. Gimme a bit while I write up a set of rules for this.
*Squee* thank you, thank you, thank you! That's like the best feedback I could get.
Those voices really are nice, always offering to help. We really should get to know them better. What could possibly go wrong?Magic, the Universe and You
My quickly hashed out rule set for magic in this quest
The Importance of the Magic Skill
This one is a no-brainier but your magic skill does play a part in the learning of magic. Basically, the higher your magic stat the number of spells you can learn without getting a negative modifier.
To use you as an example, you currently have four spells and four levels in magic, if you tried to learn another spell, you'd encounter a -5 modifier for learning magic (this effect stacks for every extra spell you try to learn while over the limit). though it is worth mentioning if you have 4 four spells learnt but 5 levels in magic, you gain a +5 modifier, this effect also stacks.
You can increase your magic skill by reading some treatises on magic, leveling up, casting magic enough that you become familiar with it and finding a magic teacher and paying their rent for the month.
The Sentient Species
The process of learning another race's magic is a hard task, as you are basically learning part of their thought process and their culture.
Once again, using an example, if the Tall Dwarf tried to learn an elvish spell, she'd normally encounter a -10 modifier, however, due to her prejudice trait against elves, she'd encounter another -10 modifier; due to the fact that elvish magic is bullshit, much like the rest of their culture, at least, to her anyway.
In addition, language barriers also play a part, due to the fact that she can't understand a word of elvish, she'd encounter another -10 modifier due to the fact that she can't make heads or tails of it.
Stats
Your intelligence does play a part in this as well, basically, for every point of intelligence you have over "5" you gain a +5 modifier, similar for those lower than "5".
Wisdom only indirectly influences learning spells, Wisdom just determines how quickly you learn the skills which would make it easier for you to learn spells.
Perks
As mentioned before, your character's prejudices do play a part in learning magic as does your understanding of the language, both of which are perks.
Other perks do play a part, for every rank in "Mage" perk, you will gain a +5 modifier to learning magic, though for perks with no rank to it, like "Blessed by the Spirits" perk, will give you a +10 modifier to learning magic. Possessed also plays its own part. Those nice voices only want to help, why don't you let them?
Necromancy
If you want to embark upon the cursed and dark path of necromancy, there's only thing you have to do: Read, that's right, read the necromancer's research notes, they left them there when you killed them, and you can then learn from those notes.
I am not kidding, it's that easy. There are no tricks here
Your powers will be very minor and you could barely raise a dead squirrel from the dead, but the more you do it, the more powerful you will become.
Though it is important that you practice control, lest your powers overtake you
In terms of raising someone from the dead, it will depend upon your magic skill, your understanding of necromancy (perk), your rank in "Mage" and your intelligence. So, go out there and learn you twisted genius and raise your army of the dead, for they know no fear.
Yes, phat loots, there's that adventurer greed, always nice to see it. They're not goblins and they don't have loot, they were fighting with their teeth, not bladesOnce we kill the rest of the goblins or whatever they are. I also just realised that they might have loot on them, even if it's just a few coins or something.
Sign language currently does not exist in the Common Continent, as such, you tend to write down what you're saying on pen and paper or just mouth out the words. There is rumors of a language consisting of hand gestures in other continents, but none of those things have made it over to the Common Continent.
We must take everything that isn't nailed down. I wonder if the gribblies teeth are valuable...Yes, phat loots, there's that adventurer greed, always nice to see it. They're not goblins and they don't have loot, they were fighting with their teeth, not blades
I swear to god, I'm squeeing like a 14 year old fangirl right now, I'll try to take that into advise, but it'll be a bit hard due to school and shit. I really hope this quest is to your liking, if not, please point out where I went wrong. I'll gladly accept the answer of "everywhere" as well.Well, this will be fun to dig into.
Also, what you are doing is running a quest. My suggestion is to go wild at the start, don't sleep for two days so you get the perfect amount of insanity, then spend the rest of the year trying to understand what you wrote.
I find it amusing that with mine we'd stealthily fall from a tree without anyone noticingIt should be mentioned, that with hannz's rolls.
You failed stealth and were spotted.
Were able to swing along the trees and elegantly pounce on your prey
Able to get a half-decent attack off.
With Inspirit's rolls
You succeeded at sneaking
You fell from the tree as you tried to climb up it and therefore had to quietly run over to your prey.
Able to get a really damn good attack off.
No... If you ignore their pained cries then it doesn't count as them making a sound
You are aware that I called the vote a while back? don't get me wrong, I'm always glad to get new voters, its just that I don't like it when people miss the vote being called, anyway your vote won.[X] Remain Concealed
-[X] The distracted enemy
--[X] Swing from Tree to Tree and take them out from above.
a Dwarf just cast more powerful magic then you can.
You're weak, but with us, you can be strong, you can cast more powerful magic
Shaking your head, you move past the fighting and go to jump on the isolated 'Gobbo'
you look at it in the low light.
Let us in, we'll take care of the rest
Hunched over and reaching your hip
it glints in the distant light from the torch.
The fire seems to be spreading
You're going to have to be careful
something like that....Last child huh? Weird. Is everyone back home else dead already?
