You gaze settled on the flames as your mind went over what you had seen. You've only just gotten out of Hogwarts, you wanted to see the world and make a name for yourself. From what you saw, you would, but not how you want to. You would spend years chasing after leads for fame and adventure. Yet you would never find it, you would simply take it from others, master the arts of the mind and clam what you could not do as your own.

You would become a disgrace, a fake that would lose everything, even your own memories as you try to claim the actions of children braver then you.

"Can I change it?" Your words flow through the small home that you live in. They were pointed to the man sitting across from you, an old looking man with white hair.

"Of course, you have not yet started down that path." The man grins as you look back to him, before he stands. "There are a number of paths that are now in front of you. You could dismiss what I've shown you, and follow in the path you have already seen. You could try to become the hero you would claim yourself to be, though less would know you then your first path." His grin widened as he offered his hand, "Or, you could take my hand, and truly become a hero of legend, though beware, the path will be layered with danger."

"What do you get out of this? Showing me my future, giving me this chance. Why?"

"Because you have potential, and I'm bored. What better way to get amusement then letting someone become a hero?"

It, well it wasn't what you were hoping for, but it was at least an answer. You sigh as you stand up, knowing that what your about to do is a bad idea, every story of demons and fey tell you to never take the offer of something that radiates magic far beyond your own. You reached out and took his hand,

A rainbow of colors swirl around you, colors refracting around you before the mans voice speaks in your ears.

"Have fun, Lockhart."

The world slowly comes into focus as you woke up from... something. Blinking you looked around.

Merits and Maluses
Cross Dominant You have trained yourself to the point where neither hand is particularly stronger than the other. You suffer no Penalties for using your 'Off-hand' and only a minor increase in difficulty for doing different things with both hands at the same time
Born into the Light Maybe its the way you walk, or perhaps its how you talk, whatever it is those that are considered 'good' will follow your lead. +3 to all social interactions with 'Good' Characters. The Media is less likely to see your actions in a negative light, and the rate you would gain infamy is lower.
Silken Voice You've a voice like velvet with a tongue like silk. +6 to all social actions involving using your voice to your advantage
Would I lie to you? You just have one of those faces who people can't believe would tell a lie. Which makes it all the easier to do so. +3 to all acts of lying and deceit.
Shining Soul Your body is brimming with potential, unlike many others, something that brings out those who see you as prize unlike any other.
Daredevil You have an inborn need to take insane risks, and your lucky that you are damn good at living through them. Decreased Difficulty on dangerous feats, and you can ignore a single 1 on those rolls.
Spiritual Well You are practically brimming with magical energies, a well of power at your fingertips. Treat your Soul as being [INT/2] higher for the purpose of Max Spirit Pool
Overconfident You know you can do everything, and anything and you are more than determined to prove those who say you can't wrong.
Curiosity You know what they say about Curiosity, but even so, your need to know can override your common sense if you fail a Will Roll.

Skyrim, then. Out of the two last TES games, Skyrim strayed less from what I was expecting of it than Oblivion did. Cyrodiil, the Seat of Sundered Kings, was nowhere near as exotic as I expected it to be, unfortunately.

Is that Zelretch?

I've never played either game, but I'm a bit more familiar with Skyrim than Oblivion due to fanfics. Let's see how Lockhart handles becoming the Hero of Kvatch - and, possibly, the Prince of Madness...

I've got some find memories of Cyrodil, plus we'll get to meet Sean Bean!
